Job Title
Clinical (US RN) Operations Manager

Job Requirements:

• Current U.S. Registered Nurse license, in good standing to practice required
• Experience in medical or insurance field preferred
• Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT codes preferred
• Requires strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, problem-solving skills, facilitation skills, and analytical skills. Must exhibit leadership skills.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor of Science Nursing (BSN) degree or General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) Diploma or Basic Bachelor of Science (Bsc) in Nursing degree

Experience

• A minimum of 3 months of prior working experience in a clinical setting required
• 3 years acute care clinical experience or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background, preferred
• Minimum of 1-2 years experience working in a team environment
• Supervisory experience required of teams greater than 3-5 FTEs
• Experience in team interactions
• Outsourcing operations experience preferred, but not required
Technical or Specific Skills (e.g. technical, computer)
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and quality
• Ability to quickly identify and provide recommendations on issues
• Strong communication both written and oral
• Strong motivational skills
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task
• A working knowledge of MS Office products, with strong Excel skills
• Highly proficient in report writing, business communication
• Knowledge of medical management process and ability to interpret and apply member contracts, member benefits, and managed care products., preferred
• Prior managed care experience, preferred

Others

• Able and willing to work U.S. time and as needed, overtime hours (i.e., night shift)
• Philippine employees able to travel to and work in Mandaluyong and Quezon City
• Additional tasks may be assigned by your Immediate Supervisor/Project Manager
Working Conditions
• Moderate to no travel depending on project involvement
• Cyclical work shift including work hours at night
• Overtime and On-Call may be required
• Client holidays are observed instead of India, Philippine or local holidays

Yes it is indeed difficult for those with no prior experience to get into this field. I have tried for several months now. I am an RN too. I have been really wanting this kind of job as it fits my qualifications. Experience is a great disadvantage for me. I just hope that CRO's and pharmas would open for entry levels too. I hope it is not through referral system or else many aspiring people would bid farewell to their dreams.

Oo. Yun ang mahirap eh. Gustong gusto ko rin pero hindi ako matanggap despite good credentials kasi wala akong experience with trials. kailangan talaga yung may extensive experience. Sobrang swerte mo pag may mag refer sayo at makapasok ka. I can hardly see opportunities for newbies in this field.
