Calling all bookworm PExers!

Read a good book lately? Then share it with us! You can now share your very own book reviews to PEx Reviews! It's as easy as Read, Post, Submit!

READ
Read a good book. Different genres are appreciated and it really doesn't matter if it's a local or foreign publication.

POST
Post your review in an existing Arts and Literature thread.
Ex. If you make a review about Neil Gaiman's American Gods, you can post it in a thread which deals with either Neil Gaiman, the book itself, or even the mythology genre as a topic.

SUBMIT
Send an email to us (see details below) of a link of your posted review, and we will consider it to be placed here!

Anyone may submit a review as long as:

a. Said review is posted in an existing thread in PinoyExchange under the Arts and Literature forum prior to being submitted for consideration.
b. Reviewer has been a member of PinoyExchange for at least two (2) months.

To submit a review, a link to the official post may be sent to the Content Manager (contribute@pinoyexchange.com) for consideration . Email must include the following:

a. Title of the book and author
b. A link to the review posted in an existing thread under the Arts and Literature forum of PinoyExchange.
c. A book rating (out of 10)
d. Full Name and PEx nickname of reviewer
e. Contact details of the reviewer

GUIDELINES:
1. Book reviews should be limited to a maximum of 600 words.

2. Book reviews should touch upon the following points:

a. title of book
b. author/s
c. points that must be considered:

- genre
- short summary
- good points
- bad points
- suggestions

3. Every month a featured book genre will be part of “On the Shelf” [See related post below]

4. A book review should at least have one (1) accompanying image. Preferably of the book cover. If you are getting the image from the Internet, please cite your source.

- “On the Shelf” is a monthly featured theme which PExers could join apart from their regular book reviews.

> Fantasy August
> Mystery-Thriller September
> Self Help October
> Paranormal November
> Adventure December

- It will be just like a normal review, except there is a theme to follow.

- Those who will submit reviews under the “On the Shelf” category will get a chance to win PEx merchandise.

- Only one feature under the “On the Shelf” category will be chosen every month.

- You may write as many reviews as you want, provided that one user will only have one review per title.
