If that is the scenario that you put, then the answer would be NO. Why? It's simple...

    Love can't pay the bills.

    i won't marry the girl..

it's not that i'm after the money, but with the above two conditions, obviously, something is wrong.. i mean, NEVER? seriously? ano yun, bobo? incompetent? walang alam? batugan? linta? inutil? madaming bisyo? totally incapacitated? i don't think i would even fall in love with such.. eh career woman pa naman ang gusto ko.. NEVER na talaga?

and there's a girl who truly loves you,
truly cares for you, has a good sense of humor,
gorgeous, and is very kind and very loyal to you.

but she has NO MONEY, and for some reason,
will NEVER have MONEY in the future.

Would you date and marry her exclusively?
That means you're not allowed to touch other girls for the rest of your life, just that girl with NO MONEY, for the next 50+ years... (even though you're an attractive guy who has the ability to attract other girls)

    Yes or No?

    -Just_JT
    Lets.turn.the.table.around.
to answer this, yes, i'll marry the girl.

    you know why?

because hindi ako aasa sa babae para guminhawa ang buhay namin. what am i? palamunin? i'm the man and that is suppose to be my main role in life - to be the provider.

oh, i'm not saying that i'll just let my girl stay at home while i toil in the proverbial fields. on the contrary, i'll let her do whatever she wants..whether become a part of the workforce, start a small business, or not work at all. she can do whatever she pleases.

ako, since i'm the man of the house, this is my main responsibility and if hindi ko madaan sa legal means para guminhawa buhay namin notwithstanding the blood, sweat, and tears i give, then i'll just have to cheat, steal, or kill

screw the world, screw the laws, screw the theoretical bad luck i'm in. my girl comes first before everything so i'll do everything in my power to become rich and provide a comfortable life.

that's BS. nobody and nothing sets rules on me. i'm alive so i chart my own destiny.

i'm one ambitious SOB and i'll gladly become a criminal than let my girl die of hunger .

i know. yung conditions na binigay parang itinatak sa bato ang kapalaran mo, which i find bs.

ako kasi, i speak from experience. even back in college, may mga sideline na ako para kumita (i was a part-time writer for a magazine, a part-time jack of all trades for an ad agency). after college and when i started working in the corporate world, it dawned on me that i can't work for anyone. i just can't stand being bossed (i do have an attitude problem that's why haha).

so i started several small businesses. my first was a playstation cafe back in the late 90s, and kumita talaga. next was a small advertising agency which became a hit at first but eventually fizzled out after 8 years due to the asian financial crisis. next naman was an online business in 2008 pero hindi pa rin naging successful (here's an advice to potential online retailers - the high cost of shipping in the philippines and the lack of trust amongst pinoys to purchase online make this kind of business RISKY).

finally, two years ago, things went well for me when i started a consulting firm catering to a specialized us market. it's still going strong and business has never been better.

i have failed several times in business and there were times i was penniless. buti na lang nakaahon ako due to brute and mindless determination brought about by my battle cry to give my wife and kid the most comfortable life possible.

there's no such thing as destiny. anyone can change the world. just be sure you're ready to suffer for it though.

pareho lang yon because it all boils down to the spending power you have, or lack thereof. if you don't have the money because you're either broke or poor, you obviously can't dine at manila pen so sa turo-turo na lang.

in my book, they're just synonyms.

    umn..
i think they differ in the sense na..
broke is temporary, and being poor is permamnent, or long term talaga..

pwedeng broke ka ngayon dahil in-invest mo lahat ng pera mo..
then rich ka after a few weeks..

well, opinion lang naman ni robert kiyosaki yun, na sinasang-ayunan ko..
and i just read his books and listen to his audiobooks..

    date OO

but marry NO WAY we would be soon a couple so let's share.

  19. #39
Guys ang provider, so dapat mas may trabaho ang lalake kaysa sa babae. Mas masama namang magpakasal ang girl sa lalakeng siya pa ang bubuhay. lol
