    Good Paying Job !

If you dont like your job but pays good, suck it up.
Then get a hobby, buy a big house, travel anywhere.

What if the job you leave is teaching?
Paano makakakuha ng mataas na sahod kung mag-teacher ka?

But if you're a geek like us, Think BIG nga! haha

ako ngayon I have no choice with my current work because I need to support my family, but my compensation is just average for a guy with 9 years of work experience...

My dream is to choose the job I love hoefully in the future thanks

Choose based on what you're good at. Loving a job wont matter much if you happen to suck at it. Find work where you can excel more. Both of what you want will follow suit.

ito yung dati kong dilemma... i was in a very high paying job but only gives me menial responsibilities, which i had felt so unsatisfying and it lowered my self-esteem....

but the pay was very good...so i stayed... i set a deadline for myself as to until when will i allow this to happen to me...

then i quit my high paying job... moved to a new company with my most loved position (my dream job actually).... but then again, life is not perfect..i did not have a very good boss and the company is hostile to employees... so there...

moral of the story.... count your blessings

I am one of the lucky ones who love their jobs and at the same time earning relatively enough for me and my family.

The first choice is usually a no contest but there will be a time in our lives that we have to consider the monetary value.

The usual case is that (but may be different to others), if you have for example 3 stakeholders (your spouse and 2 children), then you will have to self-actualize which "happiness" would you prioritize. Is it the happiness of your 3 stakeholders or your personal happiness?

I don't mean to say money = happiness, but that is the conventional scenario most of the time. Baka kasi you are happy with your job yet you can't buy good stuffs for your family at the end of the day.

But the bottomline is... THE CHOICE IS YOURS. Neither both are bad...

it depends on where you will be happy.

i left a decent job with a not-so-high, not-so-low pay just because i was not so happy anymore. yong feeling na sinusuka mo na ang ginagawa mo.

i'm currently trying to do some career change.

it will be good to have both, but if i can't, i'll go for the one i love doing.

If you hate your current high paying job and you're still doing it, then maybe you don't hate it at all. Hindi mo lang maamin sa sarili mo.

Kasi if you really really hate your high paying job, darating sa point na mag breakdown ka na. It's either mag resign ka or ikaw ang patalsikin.

Prior graduation, I got hired in a Fortune Top 100 company. For an entry level, the pay is really good. Few months after, medyo di ko na trip ginagawa ko so I resigned. After a few months of vacation, I applied in a BPO Company for an HR post. Luckily, I survived all the interviews. For a fresh grad like me and for a day job, the pay is actually good and I love what I am doing.

Sabi nga ng mentor ko, "Love your work and you'll never work at all."

P.S. : I am thankful to God for giving me the job that I've always wanted
