I'll update this as the teams get drawn to groups:

A: Bayern Munich, Villareal, Man City, Napoli -- tough group!

B: Inter Milan, CSKA Moscow, Lille, Trabzonspor -- Another tough one

C: Manchester United, Benfica, FC Basel, Otelul -- Easy group for Utd!

D: Real Madrid, Lyon, Ajax, Zagreb -- Tricky group

E: Chelsea, Valencia, Bayer Leverkusen, Genk -- Chelsea will dominate this group

F: Arsenal, Marseille, Olympiakos, Dortmund -- Good group! Matches should be a cracker!

G: FC Porto, Shakhtar Donetsk, Zenit St Petersburg, Apoel -- Softest group ever?

H: Barcelona, AC Milan, Bate, Plzen -- I hoped for a better group

Group A's the group of death

Group A is the dead center. - totally unpredictable.
Group B is a free for all group.
    Group C is WTF.
Group D is a CLASSIC group...considering their histories of success.
Group E is also a WTF albeit a slighter one.
Group F is exciting, like B
    Group G is BORING
Group H is for Barcelona and AC Milan.

    In your veins.
Group A is the toughest. All 4 of them have a chance for the knockout round and it's quite tough to bet on who will qualify. Group F seems interesting and exciting to watch along with Dortmund debuting the Champions League, I wonder how they will fair against the veteran clubs of Europe. Group C is quite easy for United to top and might not get a draw and get 18 points.

Can't believe Lyon and Real Madrid are meeting again for the 1275th time in this competition.

    Group A:
Bayern Munich, Villareal, Man City, Napoli
Tough introduction to CL for City. Bayern to top group, Villareal and City to fight for the 2nd spot

    Group B:
Inter Milan, CSKA Moscow, Lille, Trabzonspor
Another tough group, Inter and CSKA to go through

    Group C:
Manchester United, Benfica, FC Basel, Otelul
Easy draw for United, Benfica to join them

    Group D:
    Real Madrid, Lyon, Ajax, Zagreb
Very little to choose from between Madrid, Lyon and Ajax, could be very tight this one

    Group E:
    Chelsea, Valencia, Bayer Leverkusen, Genk
Interesting ties with ex-players returning to their old clubs. Chelsea and Valencia to go through

    Group F:
    Arsenal, Marseille, Olympiakos, Borrusia Dortmund
Potential to be another exciting group. Dortmund and Arsenal to progress

    Group G:
FC Porto, Shakhtar Donetsk, Zenit St Petersburg, Apoel
Softest, Boring, Europa Liga agree with previous posts here. Porto to top group then any of the remaining 3

    Group H:
    Barcelona, AC Milan, Bate, Plzen
    No contest really

Lyon and Ajax again for Real Madrid. another homecoming season for Benz. another tough group as always.

  18. #56
Man City was drawn 5th in pot 3 and only group A and H is available since all others have been filled out while the other unoccupied groups C and E have english teams in it.

Man City is lucky enough to avoid the group of Barca and Milan

I am trying to figure out how to make a PEx Fantasy Football League, Champions League version.

Any suggestions? Would be preferable if we start a test run with this CL season, and see how it works for the FL players.

I have one complex idea in mind, Group Stage to the Final. But it's yeah... complex.
