I don't care what the critics says, I enjoyed it a lot! Story was good, lot of actions and some humor. Loved the ending! Woola is cute.

I was able to watch the movie today.

The story started out slow and boring... and only began to pick up after 20 mins into the story. Then after a few minutes became boring again. The sotry was very unengaging.

Effects and action sequence were good as expected.

Bottom line, the way they presented the story was very disappointing.

    I give it a 5/10.

    Note:
To be honest, I actually enjoyed Reese Witherspoon's "This means War" more than "John Carter".

The pace of the story is slow the effects where great..the acting is average, dapat sana they build a momentum and pick up on it not a rollor coaster ride going up and down...there are comical momments but I love the alien dog!!wish they will make a stuff toy out of it Ill definitely buy one!!!

Did they show anything after the end credits aside from the tribute?

Yes, loved her "intimate scenes" in True Blood.

She can also be scene as Wolverine's love interest in Xmen Origins.

I dunno, i didn't buy her role as a warrior/princess/scientist. And I find it a bit corny that the other Kingdom if you will is named Helium.. tapos mode of transportation are mainly flying machines..

Btw, the film was based on the Mars series by Edgar Rice Burroughs, so you have to take for granted the "corny" naming.

IMHO, the film pretty much holds up - if not for its rather long running time. The humor liberally scattered throughout the film also manages to compensate a bit

Lynn Collins is 35? She doesn't look it though...I was expecting her to be younger (especially that she's playing the role of Snow White in the upcoming Mirror Mirror film). 'di ba tatay ni Lynn si Phil "Bokal" Collins?

You are referring to two different actress.

Actress playing Snow White in Mirror Mirror is a teenager named Lily Collins who is indeed the daughter of Phil Collins.

    Lynn Collins
    is a different person.

Seriously hot. I mean, YOWZA. The one thing I took away from the movie was how luminous she was. And how shocked I was to learn the woman is in her early thirties.

Sayang pinambayad ko sa movie na to 3D pa naman. Nakakatulog na talaga ko sa loob ng sinehan. Ni hindi impressive yung 3D effect niya. I was disappointed in so many level.

I enjoyed this movie. I watched it in 3D and it's worth it.

It's not an event movie, but it sure isn't the trainwreck some critics make it out to be.
