Day 1: puerto Princesa
- arrive 11AM and then straight to check in

Plans: Rent a tricycle or van to the beach to rent a boat to do DIY for the Honda Bay. We only wanted to swim with Nemo (snake Island) and choose one more island to go to. Maybe have our lunch during the tour

Here is the question.. most I see are offering day tour. since mag lunch na kami darating can we do the honda bay DIY? pwede na ba i tricycle yun or kelangan mag van sa port?

How much is the boat rental?

We also plan to do the firefly watching and dinner at Kinabuchs. Can we do the Honda, Fireflies and Kinabuch from 1PM onwards?

How much is the boat rental? php1500 for 6pax, additional 250 for extra pax

We also plan to do the firefly watching and dinner at Kinabuchs. Can we do the Honda, Fireflies and Kinabuch from 1PM onwards? pagdating ng tanghali wala ng boat sa honda bay, swerte kung matyempuhan kayo na nag-half day lang (morning nag-HB) at nakabalik na ang boat sa tanghali

hindi ako sure sa room rate nila ngayon, last time kasi na nagbook ako sa microtel 3800-4300 ang room nila, nag-taas daw parang naging 4500 na.

nag-open na ang robinson's place palawan may watsons na! nakakatuwa lang hehehe kaso napapadalas naman ang brownout ngayon dito

Yun mga kasama ko kasi sa Oct medyo tight budget. So as much as possible I like to keep the budget down. So we may opt for DIY since 6 na rin kami. Medyo pricey kasi 1500/head for the Underground River. Maybe we can get a van na lang and book the UR and get permit before we head there.

The 1500/head UR maybe ok for couples and smaller group. but with bigger group, DIY mas mura.. yun nakikita ko kasi sa mga nababasa ko.

wag po kayo magtaka kung sa ibang forum (Femalenetwork) nakakapagpost ako at dito sa pex ay pasulpot sulpot lang ngayon dahil nga po sa problema ko sa isp, hindi po down ang internet sa puerto, wag naman po kayo magalit sa akin, isp ko lang po ang may problema sa di ko malamang dahilan pero gumagawa naman ako ng paraan para makapagpex pa din kahit saglit lang

Hi MS tiara, glad that you're back, and gusto ko lang maconfirm na ok na yung underground river tour namin sa july 2 for 6 pax nag deposit na ko,and nasend ko na din *** reference number sa inyo pati names namin, gusto ko lang masure na ok na lahat parang walang aberya,

and pa help naman sa accomodation namin,nag hahanap kasi kami ng mura accomodation yung may breakfast na sana, please help us!

mag DIY na *** kami sa honda maghahanap nlng ***** mura van,kung may pwede makasabay sa van sa jluy 3 mas ok hehehe

ang city tour namin sa last day july 4 eh DIY na *** din kc sa mitra's ranch bakers hill and crocdile farm and if pwede din sa butterfly garden *** kami pupunta 2:30pm pa flight namin pabalik manila eh

@tiara_18 - Pag may PEx quiz night lang naka disable yung edit post function natin. Or pag naka 24-48hrs old na yung post ay di na pwede ma-edit Napapa-isip na ako kung magkano aabutin ng bill namin sa Microtel this August since nasabi mo na baka nagbago na sila ng rate

@Ms.Tiara Welcome back! Magdedeposit na ako mamaya, haha. Ang kulit ko diba? Anyways, may problema lang dahil nakapag pareserve na ako sa Victoria Guesthouse at nalaman ko na sobrang layo nya pala sa city. Iniisip ko magstay nalang kami dun sa first night namin tapos lipat na ng mas malapit na pension house sa city the next day sayang naman kasi yung pinangdownpayment.

Palapit na ng palapit ang tour namin.. Sana maganda ang weather. Medyo hindi maintindihan ang panahon ngayon e..

magandang hapon po sa inyong lahat! just got back from PP trip. would like to comment:
1. this was my 3rd time in Puerto Princesa & i see real improvements. backed up by people of this city wanting to make a difference. kaya siguro naging 7th wonder thru combine efforts---together we stand.
2. PAALALA LANG SA MGA travelers: please be very extra careful sa inyong mga belongings. huwag kayo magpasingit; at kung meron, call-out aloud para mapansin. hindi nya alam kung yun mga ito eh totoo bang travelers like us or members ng salisi gang out to get your things once it gets out of the X-ray.
3. kahit na domestic flight, be early to avoid hassles. i was told 22-26 flights a day na ngayon to/from manila-puerto princesa. so can the airport management handle this?

i would like to thank ms tiara & sir jhun for answering my queries kahit na hindi ako nag-avail sa services nila. kahit na matagal ang mga sagot nila, knowing that they are too busy to answer and kahit na they feel that i will not book or avail their services. it was a big part in my handling of DIY to PP/el nido.
i just hope that sa dami na gustong pumunta sa URPP or el nido or HB, suggest ko lang na gawa nalang kayo ng itinerary with fix points of interest + extra charges for extra places. that way hindi rin kayo mahihirapan sumagot ng mga queries. pare-pareho lang naman ang mga iti natin lahat. just my 2-cents, nothing personal
we had the best times of our lives here at PP, URPP & el nido.
i suggest that you book directly at the hotel(sori, ms tiara,sir jhun---this is the most practical) if not, puede rin kahit kanino, just know which hotel & get the hotel contact # & person. para you can call a day before your flight, para sure na masundo kayo sa airport.
ok rin ang Lexus van , Eulan joy, etc as long as you have their contact #. i got Lexus and just call the person in charge before my trip.

if you are going straight to el nido from URPP; be sure to be ready by 2pm(this is the last trip). from sabang to sabang junction is about 1 hour travel and transfer to another van bound for el nido. they usually stop almost 1-2hrs for a little rest.

tama si 'dawn' , malinis & me WIFI ang marina garden beach. medyo malayo ang casa teresa, but i bet maganda ang tanawin doon. i was looking for the casa teresa para mai-compare ko sa marina & check if i made the right choice, well, to each its own yata---you cannot have it all---ika-nga!
yun nga lang , wala korienta from 6am to 2pm; kaya from our original departure time of 8:30; pinapalit namin to 5:30am and they gave us packed breakfast & bottled water.i wouldn't ask for more. ok yun services nila and like a true filipino hospitality, walang pinipiling dayuhan or ka-dugo sa pag-serbisyo. if for anything, disappointed sana ako sa maagang brown-out; but i think we have to understand that many of us leave our aircons,lights & electric fans on, not thinking it is a waste of energy. malaking bagay sa community nila ang conservation para mapanatili ang kagandahan ng place.
i am just a traveller, not related to anyone mentioned above. i do not gain anything from posting this, just want to help my kapwa travellers and gain from my experience.

my MAY trip was booked as early as march and de-sulat pa yun permit; yun pahabol namin was registered early april kaya computerized na. from what i have seen, very organized ang URPP registration and hopefully magiging on-line booking na rin. malaki ang improvements ginawa nila based on my past visits to this city.
