IMHO, bagay si The Rock maging road block. If we base it sa cartoon series, Roadblock was portrayed as a african-american muscle man who is good natured and talks in rhymes.

Mas trip ko si Michael Clarke Duncan kapag drama.. maybe because of "Green Mile" movie and ang korny when he portrayed Kingpin.

Correct. I still remember her from the G.I.JOE the animated movie.

    Good addition.

And the actress playing Lady Jaye.. Adrianne Palicki is so hot.. could probably pass as Scarlett.

It seems that they are doing a major face-lift on the franchise which I am cool with.

Yes duke was probably the most popular soldier of the Joes, but those who followed the cartoon series in the 80s know that every GI JOE episode followed a different main protagonist. So If every installment will follow a new main protagonist, I guess Im cool with it.

Besides, Chaning Tatum did nothing to make Duke an enticing or memorable screen character. His portrayal was like blah! Snakeyes and Storm Shadow were the real bad asses of the first movie.

And when you get bruce willis onboard as one of the Joes? What more can you ask for. This movie can survive with him alone. But by the looks of it, the rock looks a genuine bad@ss, unlike tatum and wayans.

It was a good idea also for Joseph Gordon-Levitt to leave the franchise. He is such a great actor and he deserves much better than this. Actually thought he was miscast as cobra commander in the first movie.

I've said it before, I'll say it again.. Chaning Tatum is too young to play "Duke". He was not a good fit. At best, he could probably try to play as Falcon. Type casted pa din sya para sakin for roles that require college jocks, dancers, etc..

Man.. SGT Slaughter is 63yrs old. The only thing intimidating about him aside from his voice is his chin. So I don't know how they would incorporate him if ever. Can he still pass as a drill sgt?

From the trailer mukhang mamatay sya sa umpisa. Wahahaha. Si snakeeyes ang huwag sana nila tanggalin kasi sya ang pinaka-cool sa mga line up the joes.
