A Detour is a choice between two tasks, each with its own pros and cons. In this detour, teams have to choose between two ancient Greek culture that emerged. Their choice: Hold Your Hand or Speak Your Mind.
In Hold Your Hand, teams must travel on foot to Theatre of Dionysus. Once there, they must choose a group of dancers who will teach them a Greek folk dance called Syrtos. When they master the steps, the group must perform in front of three judges. When the three judges are satisfied with their performance, teams will receive their next clue.
Trait: Skill, Extrovert
*Run to Theatre of Dionysus*
In Speak Your Mind, teams must travel on foot to Odeon of Herodes Atticus. Once there, they must perform a scene from a famous Greek tragedy by Sophocles "Oedipus the King". When they successfully perform the scene with the satisfaction of the judge, they will receive their next clue.
Trait: Skill, Logic
*Run to Odeon of Herodes Atticus*
Caution: Double U-Turn ahead!

Hold Your Hand:
Post a Youtube video containing people dancing the folk dance. Your time will be based on the quality of the video and performance of the dancers.
Speak Your Mind:
Do the following:
1. Choose a scene from Oedipus the King.
2. Post the summary of that scene.
3. Choose which character you're going to play.
4. Post a picture of your desired costume.
5. You can't post the same scene that has been posted.
Teams must now walk to Erechtheum where they will find their next clue. Caution: Double U-Turn ahead!
PM me if you want to use the U-Turn or not. Only Jon & Ty and Colin & Christie will do this.
Teams must now travel by bus to Olympia, Greece. Once there, they have to drive themselves to Stadium at Olympia where they will find their next clue.
I'll update this.
A Roadblock is a task that only one person may perform.

Detour: Speak your mind
Phil: Let's choose this one, looks like a pretty short scene...
Oedipus interrogates the old shepherd, who denies giving the messenger a baby and does not want to talk about it. After Oedipus threatens to torture him, he confesses that he saved Oedipus from the mountainside and that Laios was his father.
Phil: I'll play Oedipus...
James: I'll play the old Shepherd guy.
Phil: Fancy the costumes for this play...Oed's looks heavy
James: Don't forget the masks. Greek actors wore masks.
