Anu ba ang pinagkaiba ng CFA at MS Finance?

San ba pede mag enroll para sa CFA? I know meron MS Finance sa UP. Pede ba ang mga working students dun? Magkano ang tuition (estimate)?

CFA is a professional designation and MS Finance is a graduate program. For CFA, you can enroll to the program for you to have the designation thru the CFA institute website. All things you need to know about the CFA program and designation are available in the said website (and also in wikipedia).

The MS Finance offered by the University of the Philippines is a part time program (night classes) to cater students working full time. Tuition is a around 17k per term in a trimester system. Please check the site cba.upd.edu.ph for more information.

Diba kailangan ng substantial work exp para ma-admit sa MS Finance? Math major kasi ako. Nagstart na ako mag-aral for actuary exams at mag-aaply din ako sa mga insurance companies. Balak ko bigyan ng 2 years ang actuarial science at pag hindi ko nagustuhan, gusto ko ko lumipat sa finance. Ok lang ba na hindi sa finance mismo yung work exp?

One more thing, meron bang thesis ang MS Finance ng UPD? Ayaw ko na kasi magthesis ulit. OK lang sakin kahit SOOOOBRAAAAANG hirap ang mga subject basta wala ng thesis.

Not sure kung 2 years ang required na nila ngayon, even if it is not directly related to finance. You could inquire with the college directly. Please check their website for more info.

Walang thesis ang MS Finance. Comprehensive exam lang. Tinanong ko sa UP CBA.

hi. i'm planning to take MSF next AY. pero nakita ko nga sa website na part-time lang offer nila starting this AY. so itong part-time na program ay panggabi, right? Wala bang MSF courses/program na pang-umaga? Hindi pako nag-iinquire, mga later this year na pero sa mga naka-enroll, would you know kung may morning classes? kasi kung night classes lang, malaking challenge 'to para sakin. thanks sa sasagot.

hmmm, parang hirap nga niyan pero apply lang, wala naman mawawala, may interview naman at dun tatanungin ka kung bakit gusto mo mag MS Fin, mabait naman mga interviewers.

So far, di nila inoffer ang full time (4 subjects per term, morning classes)
Sa part time, all classes are in the evening

May gumagawa nun ngayon, pero alam ko may approval from the college. Ginagawa nila iyong letter for approval before enrollment.
