Seriously? I gave it a 7 out of 10 last night. Not a hater here.
Bellatrix's death is kinda lame as well as Voldemort. Good thing Snape's story is superb.![]()

Alan Rickman was awesome!!!
Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows, Part 2 (2011):
From a person who has not read any book from the series but has avidly followed the movie franchise, I personally observed and noted that the book-to-movie rendition has been plain and inadequate. Sure, one is certainly bound to be emotional as this is probably the last of Harry Potter but it is emotionally blunt in its messages. Emotions are rendered impotent, failing to evoke sympathy for the characters [spoiler start](the case of Severus Snape is an exception)[spoiler end]. The wait for several interesting minor plot details to manifest from reading a brief summary is only to disappoint: [spoiler start]death of significant supporting characters, romance, etc[spoiler end].
The last installment gave a literal meaning to a finale that focused more on ending the magical franchise than bank on the development of major and minor characters towards a sentimental and euphoric resolution that could have left much more of an impression to establish a deeper personal connection not only with its avid following but also with the general audiences. In any case, there is still little doubt that truly, the past ten years has been a fantastic magical experience. I am most proud of being part of the Harry Potter generation. Congratulations.

This is a review of someone who has seen all movies of the franchise but has not read any of the books.
I found the movie breathtaking! It was fast-paced. It was heartwarming and heartbreaking at some parts.
I really digged all the wand tossing happening in the movie. It was truly effortless on the makers' part on how they created that atmosphere of how sorcerers and sorceresses engage in battles.
The back story between Potter's parents and professor Snape was well-executed. Everything about that back story worked. It's one of those heartbreaking scenes in the movie. I guessed it helped a lot that they placed a really wicked soundtrack while those scenes unfolded on screen.
For me, the one who really stood out in the movie was the one who played Lord Voldemort. He commanded so much attention!
Overall, I had the time of my life having watched all the movies of the franchise on screen. Only when I watched the last movie did it dawn on me that I would have savored the movies more if I made an effort reading the books before having watched the movies. I felt that I would have been more attached to the movie itself and the characters if I did such.
HP7 Part 2 was a fulfilling finale!
8.5/10
The Losers (2010). What a lifeless cast & having the uninteresting plot. 5/10
Just Go With It (2011)
7/10 - Surprisingly, I really enjoyed this rom-com...
