I suggest you guys watch 'Amigo', an American film about the Philippine-American war in the 1900. It features Joel Torre, Rio Locsin, Pen Medina among others and it was shot in Bohol (For fans of the TV show Raising Hope both Lucas Neff and Garret Dillahun are part of this film). John Sayles directed and wrote the film. I watched it last night sa Glorietta and I was impressed, great cinematography and a compelling story.
It will have one week run at the following cinemas:
- Gateway Cineplex 4
- Glorietta 4 Cinema 4
- Midtown Cinema 1
- Robinsons Galleria Cinema 10
- SM City Manila 8

BATTLE: LOS ANGELES - 7/10
- it's just the same-old-brand-new kind of movie where the soldiers or armies fight over the aliens. thanks to CGI effects because it somehow made the movie worth watching. like if you're really bored and nothing else to do, just give a shot to this movie. may not be the perfect one, but neither a bad one.![]()
Oblivion Island, Haruka And The Magic Mirror (2009, Japan): memories, forgotten but never lost, are treasures. Crafted from sheer talent and prodigious imagination, Shinsuke Sato marvels with earnest and nostalgic narrative, fine artistry, and delicate animation. Marvelous 9.
Your friend 7/10
kanina lang sa eiga sai, la ako makitang poster eh harhar ^_^\m/
Hard-Boiled (1992, Hong Kong): a loud, dragging John Woo work giving a new meaning to "badass." It is bad. It is ass. It is badass. Plenty of this bad kind in Philippine macho cinema. An OVERKILL! A mad 3 out 10.
Unbelievable...

I was doing my informative speech plan, but I heard my roommate play the first 10 seconds of this.
I actually watched this in Megamall, during its first week, and we were only like 20 people there. But 20 British/uncensored/witty humor lovers indeed.
P.S.
I worship Simong Pegg and Nick Frost. My favorite British duo.![]()
Tron Legacy (2010). 9/10
The Resident (2011). 7/10
The Iron Giant (1999)
9/10 I loved it! Not your average animated film. Very touching, too.
The Spirit Of The Beehive (1973, Spain): symbolically critical of post-civil war Spain, a Victor Erice work that features young Ana and her curiosity. Gorgeous cinematography. Graceful performances. Exceptional 8.
