Actually, I was wondering when will they will have a live-action movie/series of this. I think it's about time that it gets a live-action movie. However, it is again a Japanese outfit that will have this out, so for the fans of the series, I wonder how we will see it. Unless it will come out on DVD (still wondering when the DVD release of the live-action of "Space Battleship Yamato" will come out, if it hasn't yet).

Sato Takeru is actually a very versatile actor who's not afraid to go cheesy and bishounen roles, so I'm not worried about him. It's whomever directs it. It's rare to see directors who can translate animation action into live-action well.

I hope they get Takashi Miike.

Unless it will come out on DVD (still wondering when the DVD release of the live-action of "Space Battleship Yamato" will come out, if it hasn't yet).

Ok lang si Sato Takeru. Hindi ito ang magiging first time na assassin yung character na gagampanan nya. Yung last year na NHK Taiga series titled 'Ryomaden' (<--lifestory ni Ryoma Sakamoto), assassin din yun naging character ni Sato, name nung assassin ay si Okada Izo isa sa mga matinik na assassin ng Tosa Clan nung Bakumatsu period. Pero kasi yung NHK Taiga series more on drama sya eh, so kahit assassin si Sato dun sa drama series na yun, wala rin masyadong flashy sword techniques or moves na pinakita sya, puro iyakan lang sya.

Napanood ko lang si Sato Takeru sa Bloody Monday na live series (alam ko siya din nag portray kay Koyuki sa BECK movie) kaya di ko maimagine kung paano nya i-portray si Kenshin ,puro teenager kasi role nya eh

I can't wait to see this movie and criticise what they have done to my all-time favorite anime/manga. I'll be seeing kung panu nila bababoyin si Kenshin. hehe
