after the smoke has cleared, this was supposed to be morey's plan according to rockets tv analyst matt bullard interview on rockets radio

rockets get pau g., they get cap space from kmart and scola's salary and release thabeet as their salary cap amnesty, they sign nene( who was ready to sign if the deal pushed through), then sign j-rich an unrestricted f.a. from orlando on a midlevel deal, and coach k-mac will have a starting 5 that looks like this- nene in the middle, pau g. at pf, terrence williams at the 3 spot, j-rich is the sg and k-low is the point.

The primary work on deal has been between Lakers and Hornets sides, sources say. Rockets still get Gasol, still move same parts. Odom to NO.

I don't want to see terrance Williams starts.. i rather have chase starting for us...

so if the deal pushes tru..

    KLowry/Fynn
    JRichardson? /CLee

yao's coming back, he's healed well, will be playing a few games with his shanghai team to get his game going, then return to the rockets after the all-star break, in other news hakeem and clyde are coming out of retirement, they are still convincing barkley and horry to give it one more go for a championship, apparently morey also convinced kenny smith and sam cassell to come out of retirement, this is the only way morey can have a championship caliber team- from daryl morey's spoof radio interview- mighty gwynn show, sportstalk 790 hou.

    ^^ Can you blame him

Imagine playing for a championship contender with arguably the best player of the game then moving to a rebuilding team with virtually no one to help him out. Add his age too... so..

yep. i won't be too thrilled either. lol

it would be quite a transition moving from LA after winning 2 championships.

Rockets get screwed by Stern. Martin isn't happy here anymore. What next?

morey signed the other gasol(marc) to a 4yr. 55mil. contract, the grizz has 3 days to match or lose marc g., however the grizz are amenable to a sign and trade, kmart or scola are the only significant rockets on the trading block.

BTW im saddened on the events the Chuck Hayes contract was Voided by sacramento due to heart problem. the good news is Houston would glady pick him up when he is healthy...

Rockets concerned for Chuck Hayes' health after he failed Kings physical. Houston will have interest when Hayes is healthy NBA sources said
Welcome back Chuck? just hang in there and Have faith.. god is with you...

Dalembert close to signing with the Rockets.

Great pick-up for Houston. Legit center for them.

At least, they won't be forced to start Hill at the center position.

Nooooooo! We have dibs on Chucky once he gets healthy again! This may sound odd because he never suited up for us, but we terribly missed his defense and presence against the dubs.

chuck is back in h-town, having his ticker checked at memorial herman, he still has a home here.

coach kev said in an interview that dalembert was signed to a 2 year contract, they need a veteran center and they did not over pay dalembert, they gave him a 2 yr contract so that it will be easy for them to trade/release him if he doesnt fit in with the rockets, also the team is saving money for next year's free agent bonanza, hopefully that turns out to be dwight howard. on draft pick donnie montiejunas, he signed a contract to play in poland during the lock out, when the lock out ended, his team would not release him until after the season ends in poland, that is fine with coach kev, donnie still needs some seasoning to be able to mix it up with the big boys in the nba, skill wise he's there but his body is still not up to the nba level( he weighs just 215 lbs on a 7'0ft frame) he needs to put on at least 20 lbs more to be able to bang with the centers and pf's in the nba. he will play next year mchale promises.

For the rockets fans who love Chuck: He was cleared to play by the Cleveland Clinic. Also as a Kings fan who want to see the Chuckwagon play for the kings, I thank your GM for signing Dalembert and virtually removing yourselves in the running for Chuck's signature.
