looks like the magic are running out of trading partners, the only teams willing to do business with them are the lakers and the rockets, problem is while D12 can be convinced to re-sign with the lakers, bynum doesn't want to sign up with the magic next year, and the magic would not want anything less than an equivalent all-star or a couple of high-end draft picks, why not let the lakers have D12, rockets get bynum( or pau) and the magic get some of the rockets' draft picks?

Because D12 doesn't want to commit long-term to LA. The Lakers would be stupid to let go of Bynum without an assurance from Howard.

Only two teams have signified intentions of "renting" Howard for a year - GSW and Houston. GSW already pulled out. Since D12 hasn't been traded to Houston yet, I'm assuming that the Magic doesn't want what the Rockets are offering. That, or they just want more.

got a peek at practice today, royce white is a beast!, zoki(gogi's bro) plays defense(the euros are calling him the white bruce bowen) montiejunas did some drills but no scrimage, still nursing a sore back, machado is quick, can really pass and set up teammates but shot selection is shaky, lamb was a bit laidback( he has that sleepy facial expression reminds me of t-mac), coach kev is satisfied with what he saw, said that montiejunas needs a few sessions with him to polish his post moves, still waiting if the bulls and knicks will match asik and lin's offer.
