Australian production is 10x better though.

I hate Joe Bastianich as a judge! He might own plenty of restaurants but he isn't an expert foodie. All he knows is Italian.

^^ Too early to call! It's hard to gauge who is a good cook so far.

I kinda like the Italian guy to go all the way. We'll see. He seems to be a good well-rounded cook. He was able to cook profiteroles which impressed me!

I've decided to watch the season 2 of the Aussie version after finishing *** US version, naasar lang ako. parang ambabait lahat ng contestants. Napakaplastik! Ang daming finalists tapos super haba pa may mga master class pa kasing nalalaman hindi na lang mag focus sa competition. They should seriously add a little bit of drama, rivalry or whatever among the contestants.

Been a fan of MasterChef Australia since the first season. Kaso this season, I'm missing it because of work. So how was the show? Ilang contestants na lang ba ang natitira?


Anyhow, I met Gary Mehigan, George Calombaris and Matt Moran in person when I went to the Good Food and Wine show here in Melbourne two weeks ago.

Gary's the friendliest and the nicest! Hehehe!

Masterchef Australia Season 3 is down to the top 12. I heard rumors that for the overseas trip, it'll be in NYC. David Chang was a recent guest as well as Heston Blumenthal.

Masterchef US is on its 2nd Season right now.

WOW!!! I Love Heston Blumenthal! I was able to watch some episodes of his show in SBS, Heston's Feast! My golly! One of my dreams is to go and dine in Fat Duck someday!!!!

Yes, Gary, George and Matt mentioned that they just arrived from New York when they had their show here. Of course, they didn't tell who were the contestants... but they said it's something to look forward to.
