Magkano ba ang magpakasal ngayon? :)

My girlfriend is a traditional hardcore, end all be all ang kasal sa simbahan. I have this dilemma kapag casually parang sinisingit nya sa usapan yung mga wishlist nya, as in, parang malayo sa gusto kong simple at intimate na wedding.

Anyways, since yun ang dilemma ko, here's my question..kindly provide me with details...ano2x ba ang ginagastos kapag sa kasal? aside from the wedding gown, reception, the entourage etc..?
I definitely would love your inputs..minimal knowledge lang ako about it since I'm not a big fan of wedding events..

If you want, you can ask an events planner Meron ditong events planner na Pexer pala.hehe. pero hindi ako.

10k sa city hall to 10 million pag dream wedding talaga gusto nyo. totoo yan.

  4. #4
event planner po ba? how much yung ibabayad dun if ever? or may free consultation ba?

I feel na civil wedding is out of the equation, simbahan talaga ang gusto ng gf ko e. though wala kame usapang official, iniimply nya lagi yun mga wishlists nya. hehe.

Maybe you want to clarify with your gf yung budget mo.

I have my dream wedding too...pero attach ako sa reality, I don't wanna get married, tapos instant tambak ang utang kinabukasan.

my advice, eto ang gastusan mo:

    1. wedding gown. you want your wife to be beautiful at her wedding day. and everyone will remember how she looks on that day. get a good coutourier. get someone with a small studio, at walang masyadong alalay. yung may alalay n kasi, hindi sila ang gumagawa ng gowns. haharangin ka lang. joel bautista made my wife's gown. magaling sya and hindi pa overpriced.

    2. rings. yan lang ang isang bagay na isusuot mo habang buhay. maaring yan lang ang alahas mo for the rest of your life. invest on it.

Hi! The cost would really depend on how much money you would want to shed for that day. How many guests are you expecting?

Nowadays, 250k-300k would give you a simple decent wedding for a hundred and fifty guests. That includes the caterer, venue, entourage gowns, wedding gown, givaways, photo/video coverage, and church. Pwede din naman mas mura dyan but of course dont expect too much. Of course kung gusto mong mas maganda pa eh mag aad ka pa like if you opt to add a mobile bar or photobooth or if you want your wedding reception to be held at a really good venue.

Do researches on the internet. Hire a wedding planner/coordinator who can help you work on your ideas specially your budget.

Make sure that you decide first on these most important items on your wedding list:
    - church
    - venue for the reception
    - caterer
    - photo/video - (this one, depende sa couples if they're really into wedding prenup photos and video presentations with theme and stories. I personally love watching these on weddings hehe, and most couples nowadays invest on this talaga)

These items requires booking months ahead and most of the time, na fufully booked na sila specially if its nearing the wedding months. (wedding months here in the Phils btw is from Nov-Jan) Most of the time, lalo na kung sikat talaga either of the 4 items above eh na bobook na agad kahit na matagal pa ang wedding. Some churches nga like the church in Calaruega needs to be booked 1, sometimes 2 years in advance prior to the wedding date.

Yung iba naman like the sound system or strings or band or weddings host and other small details eh madali nang i book eventually as long as youre sure na with those 4 things ive listed.

    yung reception kasi relative eh.

kami, sa ilustrado. Php. 1,000.00 per head. buffet lunch and talagang panalo!

pero kasi, hindi mo maeenjoy yung reception. masyado kayong abala sa proceedings. so the way i see it, sayang lang yung reception namin, kung tutuusin. di ko naenjoy eh.

yung mga bisita nyo, should be there to celebrate with you, not to mulch on you.

and yung church. my advice is to get married in a church memorable for one of you. if possible both. this should be an emotional affair for you. so get a place that has more than ordinary attachment for you.

Agree with miss wabbit!!! 350k will give you a decent wedding. Though mine was too expensive and I won't quote the price any longer because it has raised eyebrows and a lot people thought I was mayabang. All I'm saying is that, kaya naman pala maliit lang gastos! Hahahaha! Pero since our wedding had a theme, kailangan talaga pag gastusan.

*Don't skimp on the quality of the food!
*A wedding gown can be stunning even if it's not that expensive, depende yan sa itsura ng magiging asawa mo hehehe. I attended a wedding where I wanted to sing "Here comes the bride, 60 inches wide...hmmm..hmmm" Damn that bride was fat!!! And the gown was misshapen. But according to her friends, it was a Laurel, 300k ang price! Yuck.
*Choose a great photographer, I was lucky I got Raymond Fortun when he was still starting out Magaling talaga sha.
*I got Jason Magbanua, he's too freakin expensive 100K! I realized marami nakakagawa ng craft niya.

And yes, consult a wedding coordinator! My wedding coord. was on TV the other day. She fully explained the importance of having one and she was right! My wedding was a blast because of her team.
But be honest with your soon to be wife sa kaya mo lang i-shell out for the wedding. Of course, she has to help a bit too.

Though he did tell me that IF the time comes that he thinks wedding shoots are too much na, he will switch to food photography naman. Ganun sha, madaling magsawa. My wedding was rock themed. He came there, all rocking out!!! I love him.
