The last time Pompey were in administration, they were purchased for GBP38 million from the previous administrators. Include to that the new outstanding debts (owed due to further investments, wages & bonuses, taxes etc), the debt now stands at GBP58 million according to the current administrator's report.

Plus they will be playing in League 1 next season which will mean more reduction in potential profits from ticket sales and marketing value of the club.

That's why I'm not too surprised there are no offers yet on the table to buy them.

Owner and the manager are to blame. Harry asked funds and chairman just gave it from supposed to be income and look what they gave pompey fans. They inflate the players' contracts hence they are in deep shyet that time. That fa cup success made them downhill

they got what they deserved. THey spent beyond their means. They had a squad good enough for Champions League qualification by buying players in ridiculous amounts and paying them fat wages yet Fratton Park can only hold dozens of people.. Hope they go all down to the Hellenic.
