a cousin who lives in Guam forwarded an email from a nephew (child of another cousin), years ago. the HS fresh graduate was asking for some money to buy a new laptop lang naman, not the gadgets ( or their equivalent years ago) TS mentioned and said na kelangang kelangan daw sa school.

this kid is not exactly the subsob-sa-pag-aaral type and like most boys his age, was addicted to online gaming. she decided not to send some money. besides, Guam-based cousin's own siblings don't even have their own computers at home.

the email was ignored.the kid has now graduated. he never owned a laptop.he's probably saving up for one. kid is not mad at cousin,though. she helped with his tuition and other fees in college.
