Hey guys, im planning to get Blackberry Curve 8520 along with a Globe Postpaid plan. But im not sure what plan to get? I have my eyes on Plan 999 all consumable plan with the 3 freebies. Now my question is: Is that plan compatible with my BB? I mean this in the sense that, would i be able to use my BB, along with its apps and perks, to its fullest potential? 150KB lang kasi yung data limit niya eh.

Im also looking at the unlimited globe-to-globe call and text plan worth 599 and then add PHP300 (it's 300 right?) for BIS. Mas sulit ba yun kaysa sa Plan 999?

So aling sa dalawang plans na to ang mas okay?

PS: I also posted this on the Globe Postpaid thread.

    Fullest potential...no you cannot.

For as long its full BIS, you get full potential of Blackberry (but its not cheap)

So aling sa dalawang plans na to ang mas okay?
    whatever you can afford

Blackberry People I need serious help..

I know I shouldn't have done this but i bought a secondhand blackberry 9800 from someone on the internet who supposedly claimed that the unit is already open line. This is my first BB and i know it is stupid of me to not test the unit as the girl was supposedly in a hurry. This is the first time I bought and met up with sumone from the internet and it cost me a whopping 18,000 php

How can I friggin unlock my torch 9800? Please help! I dont know anything about BB much less with unlocking.. Everytime I insert my globe sim, it ask for a sim unlocking code or a mep code. I tried putting in the "MEP" i got from BB INFRO Reader but doesn't work!

    desperate guy here! Thanks

I think may issue talaga sa FourSquare regarding BB. You need to backread sa previous thread, they're discussing it there.

What do you mean by "it doesn't seem to work"? I had a problem installing Foursquare when I downloaded it from Blackberry App World. But when I downloaded it directly, I was able to install it.

this also happens to me when I subscribe to BB SOCIALS for Globe. I believe foursquare is not included in the PLAN you subscribe.

However, it works for me when I changed carrier from SMART to Globe but I upgraded my subscription to BIS.

    Hope it helps.

    -------------

I'm sorry, i didn't get your invite. Probably you sent the invite after I cancel my subscription to globe.

    BIS Subscription (Php 1,200)

    1. Push e-mail
    2. Blackberry Internet Partnerships (Google, Facebook, Flicker, MySpace, BBM)
    3. Instant Messaging (YM, Google, Windows Live Messenger)
    4. Unlimited Browsing

Your plan categorized under item 2 and 3 only (Php 300.00).

Yes, on top of your Php999.00 plan an additional Php300.00 is loaded onto your monthly subscription.

If you wanted to fully utilized its potential usage then you will pay Php999.00 + Php1,200) in all.

Definitely if you avail of the Plan 999 for blackberry you will be able to make use of BB offerings from Globe (with subscription of Php 300 at the very least). However, if you opted to avail the Ph599.00 I believe you will have to add additional Peso to get the Blackberry Phone plus a subscription of Php300.00 for SOCIALS.

Now asking us kung ano ang mas okay, it depends on your needs.
