t-shirt+shorts+slippers/sandals/sneakers...one of the most common UP attires...kaya masayang pumasok ng UP...![]()
T-shirt+shorts+sandals. Almost 85% of my stay ganyan, minsan nag-jeans with sandals pa din. (I have always had a pair of rubber shoes with me sa bag pero it was for training kinagabihan, kaya ayoko na mag-shoes talaga. Toxic.)Well, 'yung undergrad 'yan. Pero ngayon sa grad school, 50% of the time naka-"undergrad" attire ako dahil sa Saturday na class. Pag-weekday na class, 50% naman Polo/polo shirt/t-shirt+jeans+sneakers/boots (depende sa weather kase I have to rush to work after ng class).
I just can't remove the habit of wearing shorts+sandals even in grad school kaya comfy all the way pag-Sabado lalo na I do my library work and love hanging out sa Sunken area and Main Lib walk while eating siomai/fishball/kwek-kwek habang nakaalis ang sandal and just feel the U.P. breeze sa aking mga paa.My profs don't mind them though (sa limang semestre ko), as long as we share sensible things in class. Ang lamig nga lang minsan sa loob ng classroom kaya may baon akong sweater hahaha THAT'S WHY I LOVE U.P. SO MUCH.

Napansin ko, mga taga UP wala masyadong fashion sense. Honestly, Im tired of seeing tshirt-jeans combo. Haha. But honestly, eto mga cool looks for college dudes:
May mga nageeffort naman na maayos magsuit up but srsly, majority of them are like big fat dudes, it doesn't look good.
^ For gay guys yang look na sinasabi mo.
Mostly ng mga people who dress like that ay part ng lgbt community naten. That's it.
What I love about UP: As long as you look decent, no one hassles you if you're not high-fashion. Yep, people tend to look scruffy at the end of the day, but people don't go to UP to show off their fashion skills (unless yun talaga course nila XD) in the first place. When you're rushing between classes, meetings, and other stuff - good luck looking cool and poised.
If there are important occasions, I think we can trust most UP students to have the common sense to dress up properly anyway. I hope. XD
IMO, I rather like the laid-back look: no fuss, no muss, di pa lapitin ng snatcher![]()
Agree...medyo OA nga yun look na yan. Even guys from Ateneo or LaSalle won't even do it. Ang pagkaka-alam ko, not everybody can wear what is shown on the runway everyday, kahit parties man yan. Those clothes meant to show the "look".
IMO, as long as well-groomed ka, kahit simple man ang suot mo or ma-porma, it's alright. Kahit pumasok ka pa na naka-pantulog o naka-tsinelas na naka-medyas, no one will mind basta malinis ka.![]()
^ importante din na wala kang amoy or anghit. neat looking plus no body odor please. Okay na yun! lol.![]()
I do tend to "dress up" even wearing shorts ('dressier' tops), pero depende sa weather at sa gising. Masarap talaga mag-shorts and comfy shirt/polo. And I'm not straight BUT I haven't worn any of the looks posted above... uhmmm... maybe the third one pero glamorized shirt and pants lang 'yan at 'di ko kaya kasing ikli ng shorts sa first pic from BV. And lastly, Oh hi there Francisco Lachowski!
And yes, importante na walang amoy.
^ The guy in the first picture is wearing a p*e*k*p*e*k short. Fantasy siguro yan ni patapon. lol.![]()
Hindi ba t*i*t*i short? Charing!![]()
In my 4 years of college in UP, I usually wore sandals, shorts/jeans, and tshirt. Iba nga pajama eh. hahaha
When you have to walk under the sun from class to class, would you even bother to dress well?![]()
LOL. I remember one classmate work boxers to class. In fairness, summer yon.
Sleeveless shirt at shorts. Three months na ako di nakapagpantalon.
