nothing comes close to UP's degree of difficulty and trademark fast movements and transitions without compromising their graceful moves..

UST however was not able to hold on to their trademark of making everything looks easy, and entertaining with clean moves and tosses. I miss the SDT during the early 2000..

FEU on the otherhand took that spot away from UST.

Honestly, I think FEU will win this year (I think FEU even won last year, and was really surprised that UP won over FEU).

I think what the Animo squad needs is consistency. They need to be consistent in pulling off stable partner stunts and pyramids. Sometimes they perfect a routine on a certain competition but they falter on the other. Hope their new coach can establish confidence in all members of the squad when doing a routine. But basing on the recent filoil performance, they're ready to give the cheerdance triumvirate a good fight.

Ganyan talaga if you're a fan of LS and its very promising teams like the AS and the MBT. Puro promises. Nakakainis.

DLSU really have what it takes to be in top 3 or even win the championship pero feeling ko din they need to be more consistent.

Every year palagi na lang may sablay either sa partner stunts nila or pyramids and their dance is just so-so. With their new coach and hopefully support from the students and alumni I am sure they would give a good fight.

My top 3 this year FEU, UP and DLSU ( in no particular order ).

Are they including the points as part of the cdc overall scores? The group stunt is not part of a CheerDANCE competition, unless they put a dance part in it as well.

kasi as far as i know... ito yung mga highest placings nila:

UP: 1st
FEU: 1st
UST: 1st
ADU: 2nd
ADMU: 2nd
UE: 2nd or 3rd

sana magimprove sila this time para makatop 3 sila.

DLSU finished 3rd way back in 1998, that is the same year FEU won their 1st CDC crown.

^DLSU placed a few times when the cheering competition was still in the early stages. I recall parating champion ang UST then (and Jollibee was the sponsor).

^ DLSU placed 2nd on that year (1995). They were also runners-up the year before that. From 1994-1998 (except 1997), DLSU was consistently on the Top 3.

Based on that video, I can conclude that traditional cheering is really DLSU's edge over the others. Too bad, there's no criteria for that in the recent CDCs.
