A Detour is a choice between two tasks, each with its own pros and cons. In this detour, teams have to choose between Row It or Catch It.

In Row It, teams must row a boat used by rowing teams in Belfast and collect five different flags scattered along the river. When they have all five flags, they must deliver these flags to Lagan Weir to receive their next clue.

In Catch It, teams must Find Lanyon Place. Once there, teams have to catch 20 salmons using the traditional fishing rods. When they have 20 salmons, they have to deliver it to St. George's Market to receive their next clue.
