Monta is a heavy scorer for GSW and if this trade would ever materialize, who would do the heavy scoring in their team without him?

IMO, Ellis is much consistent than Dwight scoring-wise. If GSW cant get another scorer, they should also think twice on making this move.

I'm a big fan of Kevin Love. However, I don't see why LA would do this. Pau brings so much more to the table. Love can't defend. Doesn't have a lot of post moves (does he even have any?) Granted that K-Love is more of a hustle player and an excellent rebounder, is he really up to being the 2nd banana of a championship contender? Being Kobe's sidekick isn't an easy task.

Is there really a rift between Kobe and Pau? Why are they even considering this? Para kasing mentality lang naman problem ni Pau nun.

IMO, Bad move for LA if they would get Love. With lots of jump shooters sa Lakers specially Kobe, they would rather need Gasol's rebounding (offensive) and ceiling inside rather than Love's outside shooting.

With Gasol in the team, LAL is really an unpredictable team as they can burn opponents from inside with Gasol and Bynum and outside with Kobe and Artest. If you put Love in the picture and Gasol out, bawas na or ultimately wala na yung unpredictability factor.

Its better to retain Gasol then get a more decent PG in the FA and get rid of Walton, Smith, Blake and Barnes. Then give Mike Brown a chance to run the team around Bynum and Gasol which he wants.
