No, you're not seeing things. That white-haired dude really has cat ears, aside from his normal ears. Which is weird.

The people behind the show have confirmed that it's actually hair. It's like Ranka's (Macross F) "dog ears" hair. The hair moves to convey something to the viewer or for just the heck of it.


The Zedas' pilot is the red-haired boy (Desil Galett?).

Watched the first 4 eps and so far it wasn't a disappointment. Medyo slow ang progression IMO but that kind of helps you ease in the series as well as the characters.

Gundam AGE looks promising, it's not your typical gundam series, but many of the concepts of Gundam is strong with this one.

What I'm looking forward to is the potential of the AGE system.

Episode 5, "Demon Boy"

Alright another episode has gone by, characters coming form left and right. Last week we had Woolf “white wolf” Enneacle introduced to us – the ace of Earth Fed. Now this week Diva arrived at the home colony Flit meets another character by Decil Galetta who is also a newtype. And i believe he’s able to somewhat read minds – im saying this loosely here. The encounter wouldn’t occur if Flit watched were he was going. Just sayin’. As the episode progresses whenever Flit touches Decil’s hand he would have abnormal feelings which Decil take his Age device when had the chance and took the gundam for a spin. What surprise me is that i think Decil does a better job piloting than Flit does. There’s a lot more dirt in this episode but you’ll just need to see to find more

wala pa akong sypnosis sa ngayon, mero makikilala natin ang misteryosong bata na si Decil Galetta, kagaya siya ni Yurin, isa rin siyang Newtype, pero mapanganib kapag nakapag-maneho nang Mobile Suit at magiging isa sa mga kalaban ni Flit in the near future episodes.

AGE-2 reminds me of a rejected 00 Qan[T] design. Maybe Kanetake Ebikawa repurposed it for AGE.
