Kasi sa ibang bansa you can take any job you are willing and able to do; may kita ka na pwede mong ikabuhay. And many companies prefer dumb pussies over can-do's because customers like pussies no matter what and bosses like getting amused and bonered everyday. So go abroad na lang where one is recognized and gets paid a fair day's work (except HK and middle east).

^^ then i think its a matter of choice in a career then, why the heck people try to study law, medicine, engineering then their future plan pala is to go to other countries to practice what they have learned, tapos they will get rejected because its not recognize in their chosen country and they will end up working in menial/labor job.

^Not merely choice. Strategizing is the word. We are in a global setting and things shift and change a lot. People have to attain adaptability. Ang importante may kabuhayan para sa present at importante din may savings and readiness for contingencies. Otherwise dapat marami ding resources (like friends and creditors) na maasahan.

But sleepless nights of studies and solving mind twisting problems shouldn't be simple..

Then they get the high -paying simplest job as a reward afterwards.. Of course except for those software developers who write codes for a living.. That's harder..

Im pretty sure most people here don't understand what you just stated the same for most of your posts.. Please try to be more affable with your posts sometimes..

I'm saying that maybe people in different jobs like IT because the nature of business carry less risks tend to be hired more for efficiency (their experience) than their paper merits (education).

I say maybe because even those I know who don't have education and worked/are working for IT that I know of have either faked their education/lied when they were hired OR don't really work in that level (most of them are just fixer uppers).

Not that I'm also belittling their careers/fields, I don't know jack about electronics let alone computers and I think that IT's are very smart...but to say the least the other part of my argument

People in the medical field don't have the same margin of error; it takes a simple wrong mistake for a whole company to be sued when and if a doctor makes a wrong decision or not even that, that people die or get hurt...you know how big/expensive their insurance are here?

Simply stated, it's the nature of the beast/business.

well TS ganun talaga, mahirap ang buhay and alangan naman you starve because of some false pride. you have to work your butt off and many people are willing to take whatever job they can regardless of their background. There's nothing wrong with honest labor.

there is a spectrum of jobs relating to computers in which on some branches of IT jobs people could easily get hired by mere experience or certificate, heck even faked their background educational infos and be hired like you said... but long nights of studies are what people endure in order to be in a position that suit their skills and ironically some dont even have to utilize their skills extensively in the position..

IT and medical field are two different fields altogether..you can say that lives are not at risks in IT field like they are in medical field, but with how computers have evolved over the years since the commencement of computer era.. exploitations, privacy invasion, hacking, fraudulence have been prevalent for many years as well .. it's too apparent nowadays that companies prefer those who are reliable, trustworthy and experienced enough to do the tasks required and wont compromise the company's reputation.. i doubt anyone would be audacious enough to fake their resume then apply for a job while being completely dense about computers.. but i bet there are cases like that.. lol

just to let you know, there are fake nurses and doctors in america.. that's worse knowing that lives/health of people are in the hands of these fakers..

at least at goldilocks, i dont worry about working with fakers...

Yes im in IT Industry as an IT Consultant and they never questioned me about my school or country instead they always look for my credentials, skills and experience.

iba ang IT ate nene... a program is a program is a program. walang paki yan miski anong nationality pa o kung saang sulok ng mundo pa kinode yan. as long as you are using the same platform and the same language and your program performs the tasks it is supposed to perform tapos ang kwento.
