Which is better? One Piece or Naruto

i also read One Piece. Pero feel ko talaga palayo nang palayo ang kwento. I find the arcs interesting pero sobrang malayo na sa main goal, and that is to find One Piece.

Walang basehan ang lahat ng mga nagsasabi na mas better ang Naruto sa One Piece [and vice versa] kung hindi niyo susubaybayan ang parehong manga/anime. Ako, pareho kung sinusubaybayan ang OP at Naruto mula noon hanggang ngayon at masasabi ko talagang mas maganda ang One Piece. Kung OA ang OP sa comedy, sobrang OA ang Naruto sa drama. One Piece is truly epic.

Malayo pa nga talaga ang tatakbuhin ng kwento dahil sa dami pa ng misteryo na hindi pa naso-solve [Rio Poneglyph, Will of D] at mga kalaban/kakampi na hindi pa nakakaharap [Gorosei, remaining Shichibukai, remaining Supernovas, Celestial Dragons, remaining Yonkou, World Government and Marines, Revolutionaries, etc.]. Nasabi ni Whitebeard na totoo ang One Piece noong namatay siya. Sasabihin na din sana ni Rayleigh [kanang kamay ni Roger] kung ano ang One Piece pero pinigilan siya ni Luffy dahil magiging boring na daw ang paglalakbay nila kung alam na niya kung ano ang hinahanap niya. At simula pa lang sila sa New World, kalahati palang ng Grand Line ang nalilibot nila.

First, hindi Grand line and 'end line' na tinutukoy mo. Grand line is not the end of the One Piece world. Raftel, is.

At kung binabasa mo talaga yung One Piece manga, alam mo dapat na Luffy's crew is just halfway through. They're still on their way to the other half of the Grand line which is the 'New World'.

Second, hindi si Roger ang nag-iwan ng One Piece. Nahanap nya na yun, and he wanted to share it to the rest of the world kaya bago siya i-execute, in-announce nya that 'One Piece is there!', thus, commencing the new pirate era. Pero hindi siya yung 'nagiwan', as what you said on your previous post.

Third, hindi lang naman 'mahanap yung One Piece' ang goal sa anime na One Piece. Each member of the Strawhat Pirates has their own goals on the anime. In example, Sanji wants to find 'All Blue'. Zorro wants to be the best swordsman. Luffy wants to find 'One Piece' and be the new Pirate King.

Because you just don't read One Piece. You read it well.

At matagal pa talaga matatapos ang One Piece. Because there's still a lot of stories about the characters which are untold. That which makes One Piece a really good anime (and a better anime than Naruto) because it's leaving you hanging for more.

ganun pala... ako Im not an avid fan of mangas and yung anime lang ang nasubaybayan ko tas tumigil lang din ako after a couple of story arcs... now, nakikinig nalang ako sa summary ng friend ko ang layo layo ko na kasi naiwanan na talaga. But still, One Piece is still awesome hanggang ngayon. Individual stories and goals are so solid.

Ang One Piece kasi, kahit saang direction pwedeng gawan ng story sa Naruto naka revolve lang lahat kay Naruto, his Kyuubii and Sasuke. Drama lang kung drama ang fillers.

pag tinanong nyo zabuza / chuunin exam arc vs. buggy / ussop arc, sure ako naruto ang sagot.
pero after nyang mga arcs na yan, mas maganda na OP hanggang ngayon. hehehe.

IMO, ang only shounen na close sa quality sa OP ay FMA.

Actually, may punto naman si Kobe Lai dahil pwede mo ding sabihin na si Roger ang nag-iwan ng One Piece dahil sa mga linyang ito.

In the 4Kids dub, Roger's last words before he died were: "My fortune is yours for the taking, but you'll have to find it first. I left everything I owned in One Piece".

In volume one of the English manga, Roger's last words were: "My treasure? Why, it's right where I left it. It's yours if you can find it. But you'll have to search the whole world!"

In the original Japanese opening, Gol D. Roger states "My wealth and treasures? If you want it, I'll let you have it...search for it! I left all of it at that place".

In the FUNimation opening, Roger's last words were: "You want my treasure? You can have it! I left everything I gathered together in one place. Now you'll just have to find it!".

Dahil sa mga dub issues, naiba ng konti yung translation pero malinaw na ang left ay iniwan ang ibig sabihin.
Anyway, lahat yan ay maso-solve sa oras na mahanap na talaga nila ang One Piece, kung iniwan nya ba talaga, natagpuan niya lang at iniwan nya kung saan nya lang din nakita, etc.

Kung nanonood ka ng One Piece up to this point, marerealize mo na hindi na importante kung makukuha pa nila ang One Piece o hindi. Ang importante e yung mga epic adventures nila sa paghahanap ng One Piece.

Most probably, sabi nga nung isang poster e yung mga bumoto ng Naruto karamihan ay hindi na sumusubaybay ng One Piece. Ako masasabi ko na One Piece is the best shounen next to or above Dragon Ball Z kasi napanood ko lahat simula episode 1 (minus the naruto fillers). Malayong malayo ang One Piece sa Naruto. Bawat arcs, characters, pati fighting scenes e lamang na lamang. Animation lang siguro talo ang One Piece.

There might be some who are disappointed with the character design but at the same time, the design helps in easier recollection of characters and their images.

^ nung una kong napanood yung OP sa channel 7 actually dismayado ako sa itsura nung gma character pati sa ability ni Luffy tingin ko pambata. Tinatawanan ko pa yung classmate ko nung college pag nagkkwento siya. Then ayun nawala ata OP nun sa Channel 7 hanggang kay Eneru lang ata. Tapos nung bumalik siya eh nagkataon nun bum ko, walang magawa sa timeslot na yun 10AM ata yung slot niya sa Ch7. Then napanood ako, sakto kay Sanji palng yung sa Restaurant nung irerecruit pa lang siya. Aba natuwa ako! Maganda pala yung story niya. Hanggang sa huli eto yung panget na character design eh ngayon gandang ganda nako. The best!

Kung baga it just doesn't made an impression on me. Kaya ayon hindi ko siya sinubaybayan. Diba bakit mo naman susubaybayan ang bagay na hindi ka nga interasado e. May kasabihan nga tayo "1st impression lasts!"

About Naruto naman. I agree mas paborito ko Naruto kesa Shippuden. Yung laban nila Naruto and Neji and yung hokage battle royale was just epic!

Pero to say na papangit ng papangit yung story ng Naruto mali yun. Andami na ngang revelations. At least sa Naruto alam namin may patutunguhan yung story. And Naruto vs pain iwas epic as well! And yung ninja war was epic as well! Kung baga punong puno ng action scenes!

Ang Ino-Shika-Chou, hindi mabibgyan ng spotlight kung hindi pa namatay si Azuma! Naging walang kwenta si Neji. Aba, lalo si Tenten. Lagi pang may convenient power-up si Sasuke. Si Kabuto, sa tinagal-tagal niyang character, ngayon pa siya pinagtuunan ng ganung klaseng atensyon? Na wala halos ang karamihan ng minor characters! Tapos, andami-daming walang kwentang fillers. That's the Naruto Anime & Manga for you.


Sa One Piece? EVERYONE admits na lame yung first few parts nung Anime & Manga... But you know, guys? Every little bit sa OP, pinagtutuunan ng pansin. Laboon and Brook? Chopper and the Poison Mark? Doc Crocus and the Roger Pirates, Arabasta Arc, Water 7 pa lang. Umpisahan niyo kaya sa Water 7, especially nung kay Robin at kay Merry. That's some serious ****.


ONE Piece sells more than the next 6 top-selling mangas in Japan! That's way over the top.

in fairness, dati close pa ang naruto at OP sa sales (pero lamang pa din OP). simula ata nung water 7 arc, minsan umaabot ng around 3:1 yung bentahan ng OP sa naruto, hanggang ngayon.

every release ng volumes parang ganito hitsura ng sales.
