ORPG Suggestion: Project Runway PEX Edition

OK. I don't wanna steal Arkinx7's thunder here, but it would be better to discuss this suggestion on a separate thread.

Like what I posted on the BB PEX thread, this fashion-oriented ORPG involves creating looks using looklet.com, sketching, photoshop, and even actual dress-making. This game also needs two other PEXers who will serve as judges, along with the host.

There will also be a budget assigned on some challenges, both fictitious and real. Designers can also post their confessions and even interact with other competitors at the episode threads as they work with their designs, just like in the actual show.

You can ask questions as to how this game develops.

As for the real budget, literal na gagastos ang contestants for challenges that involve actual dress-making. But don't worry, it's not too much, trust me.

Actual dress-making means as it is. Designers will actually create a dress, take a photo of it and post it on the episode thread. I already thought about the constraints, so the challenges that will involve actual dress-making compensate on that. I cannot reveal how though.

nakura dapat may time limit din ang isang season. like for example a season of pextar should only last for 12 weeks. marami kasing gustong mag-host ng ibat-ibang games dito.

On behalf of starczamora, I'll answer your question.

Designers will do the same type of challenge on each episode. If the episode is a looklet challenge, all designers will submit designs based on the site. If it is a sketch/ photoshop challenge, designers can either sketch their designs on paper or create it through Photoshop or other graphic software. The works should show how the dresses actually look like (sample), not an interpretation of the design (like so). The sketches/ images should be properly signed by the designer, certifying that they are original works and not picked up from Google.

Finally, if the challenge involves actual dress-making, all designers have to create a dress. They can sew it on their own or have a staff sew it for them. Designers will be given one to five days to complete each challenge, depending on the difficulty.

Like star has said, the host is aware of the constraints regarding making an actual dress such as sewing skills, the availability of materials, budget, time, etc. But all of these will be handled considerably.

Take note that the challenges may tend to be Philippine-centric, but they will be better than PRP (I hope).
