hey if we can pay Turiaf $4.2M why can't we pay Humphries?
haha how about Chuck Hayes? but I feel he'll go back to rockets.
should we try Ryan Hollins? I think he's good defensively but he needs to learn how to box out
I'm not sold with Jason Collins but we can consider himjust for the sake of having a veteran big man.
Is there a good big man in D League right now?
I hope Turiaf gets traded... pabigat yung contract niya. Chuck Hayes would be good if he's willing to come for cheap. Ryan Hollins, I think is good, but Jerome Jordan is coming over anyway, they have the same build. Long, Skinny, Athletic type Center.
Jason Collins and/or Kurt Thomas would be nice too. They can play 10 minutes a game, a good line-up for closing out a game with a big guy like that as our Big.
As for the D-League. Remember Sean Williams? Former Nets lotto pick. That guy is a stud in the D-League, and if given the chance I THINK he'll thrive in Mike's uptempo style.
I don't think any team would be willing to take Turiaf. are we still saving money for CP3? I'm afraid we might not be able to get a decent big man if we're saving money for CP3 not unless CP3 is willing to get less than what he deserves.
when my man's contract expires hope he returns for less so we could have more decent bench while maintaining a strong starting 5.
if the cba pushes we'll have more problem signing good players.
CP3's signing for less than max, without a doubt. Look at Amar'e and Melo, endorsements left and right. Amar'e even has his own business now. Heck, Al Harrington got an effin' shoe deal in New York. Nate Robinson was once the TOP 3 SELLING JERSEY in the whole NBA only behind LBJ and Kobe when he was a Knick.
Money is easy to come in New York, CAA and CP3 knows that.
I think if CP3 signs straight up, Billups will definitely be back in probably a 2 year deal to finish his career with a chance for a title; backing up CP3. The guy obviously doesn't want to go to a diff. team anymore, he wants NY to be his last stop.
As for Turiaf, he's expiring so... baka maka chamba.![]()
About Humphries, soon-to-be-a-Humphries Kim Kardasian said she wants Kris to stay with NJ.![]()
Knicks are in preliminary discussions for Johnny Flyn - Toney Douglas swap.
Flynn's value is at an all-time low. I'd rather have Douglas, but I dunno... I haven't seen much of Flynn at the NBA level. He's always injured. While I know Toney is a warrior who plays injured.
Bahala na si Walsh.![]()
A Billups + Fields + first-round pick for Paul or Williams deal technically works under the current cap structure, but that's not gonna happen. Hornets & the Nets wants a superstar![]()
They also said we didn't have the assets to land Carmelo Anthony.
We can't tell what or what's not gonna happen anymore in this league. If CP3 forces his way to New York, the Hornets would bite that deal, rather than lose him for nothing.
Don't forget "The Toast". D-Will can stay in NJ.![]()

Mas malaki nga ata contract ni Flynn 6th overall pick siya eh, 29th pick si Douglas. I think they want FLYNN's potential. Bait for CP3 siguro. 6th overall pick parin yun eh.
Vince Carter is gonna be bought out by the Suns. Come to New York VC!
We need a 2-Guard badly, and if Vince Carter and one of T-Mac and Redd signs with NY. We'd pretty much have depth on that position. Landry Fields could then back-up Melo.
Billups/Fredette (assuming we traded Douglas for Flynn and got JF)
Carter/McGrady(or Redd)
Anthony/Fields/Shawne Williams
Amar'e Stoudemire/Reggie Evans(?, Vet's min)
Kwame Brown(?)/Jeff Foster/Jerome Jordan
Turiaf = hopefully traded away
Balkman = inactive
Rautins = D-League
Anthony Carter - 3rd string PG
If we get a Better CENTER; then good. Maybe Chauncey can lure Ben Wallace to New York? One last run?
That roster gives us great depth. Having a guy like T-Mac or VC come off the bench with Fields, a 3 pt Specialist in Shawne Williams, and Jimmer Fredette? YES PLEASE. Sana mangyari yan.![]()

2012 pa yun eh. Yan muna, for this upcoming season.Mukha namang kaya mag contend niyan diba?

Kwame Brown averages a double double. I dunno, he's considered a bust and all, but I think he can thrive in D'antoni's system. If Ben Wallace comes for cheap, I think we can get by..
Foster is one of the best rebounding bigs in the League. Will be willing to get down and dirty and protect Amar'e. Reggie Evans also lead the League in Rebounding before he got injured. Averaged around 15 rbg.
Maybe we can also look at Nazr Mohammad? And hope Jerome Jordan becomes Deandre Jordan.
Or.. CP3 better bring Okafor with him to New York.
