What do you think of the Colegio's uniform?

Hindi ko gusto un patch sa may collar mas ok pa din un pin na binibigay dati (pero hindi rin ako nagamit ng pin *** hindi halata na taga letran ako dati).

^^ medyo I wouldn't agree, para kasing ang panget ng kulay puti lang na my pula sa manggas for me yung P.E. uniform dati na my malaking letran na word para sakin astig padin kasi pwede mong gamitin parang college shirt eh my Puti,Royal Blue, Dark Blue, actualy hanngang ngayon pag gumagala ako or my game sinusuot ko padin kasi hindi halatang pang PE siya parang college tee lang and gusto ko talaga pag naglalakad ako mabasa ng mga tao na Letranista ako

"FELLOW LETRANITES, The Colegio shall be having a new UNIFORM for IT and DA together with the Engineering Students. They will be in a Separate College called "COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY" (CEIT) "not yet official name".

In line with this, I would like to ask for your help for the new DESIGN of the UNIFORM for CEIT Students. As your distinctive voice, we requested that the design of the Uniform should come from the students and so I hope you could send me your designs ASAP within the week at sybryanlato@gmail.com

*CEIT may sariling uniform, alam mo na galing sila sa CEIT, eh ang mga CBAA, CLAS, at COEd students.. paano mo ma-iidentify from each other? should they have there own uniforms too?

ibig sabihin ba neto, nagbabasa ang mga admins dito sa Pex? hahahaha! tuwang tuwa kami nung mga kaklase ko nung nalaman namin na papalitan na yung uniform ng IT. sana pati yung ibang courses na rin may sariling uniform katulad nung management at yung legma and polsci students.

I heard that the Social Sciences Area (PolSci-LegMa) are also planning to change their uniforms.

They are going to pass a proposal to the admins before this semester ends.

Piece of advise dun sa mga magdedesign para sa IT uniform. Don't design the IT uniform too formal. Ang college appearance dapat ay hindi para magmuka ka ulit highschool kung manamit dahil your preparing yourself to be employed not to be taught your ABC's again.

Most IT Industry wore comfortable na damit as much as possible. IT professional people are on the go, hindi officentric. Madalas nadedeploy or naassign sa mga off-site projects so think professionaly not as just a student but as an IT professional na nagttraining na to be deployed.

Tignan niyo yung mga teacher sa Misnet,edu pro etc. mga IT professionals yan relax lang sila manamit ganun naman talaga kasi sa real world.
Don't expect na pagraduate mo parang boss ka dapat manamit. Lahat dumadaan sa ibaba kung kelangan mo bumaluktot sa ilalim ng PC or sa loob ng server or data room kung yun ang magiging task so uniform must be comfortable as much as possible talaga.

Polo shirt is a good example but iwasan niyo yung pure white katulad dati. Pwedeng pure blue or red or combinations basta hindi madungis pagnaalikabukan.

Shirt-jack madami din gumagamit nito sa mga IT or Semi conductor companies comfortable and pwedeng formal kahit papano dahil my ibang company mandatory gumagamit ng ganyan. So dun sa mga magdedesign think your design ng maige. It must be practical, professionaly beeing used in most IT companies, interview alot of IT Alumni or IT professionals who currently works in the industry will help you alot.

^exactly! yan yung sinasabi ko nung bagong implement pa lang yung "Corporate every wednesday" rule sa letran manila, kasi sa real world hindi naman talaga necessarily naka corporate ang IT people unless na lang nasa managerial/executive positions na sila.. di pa ko nakakakita ng IT personnel sa mga company na habang nagpoprogram, nagaayos ng hardware o nagmomonitor ng databases e nakacorporate. hahahaha

kaso yung bagong uniform e hindi lang para sa IT students, but for the engineering students as well... kaya siguro medyo formal din? the last ive heard e ayaw daw pumayag ng admins na hindi all white ang uniform? kung hindi daw all white dapat daw mostly white.

naka SLACKS na daw ang mga babae na kakulay nung letran blue (royal blue ata yon) then may parang ribbon sa collar. haha parang ang sagwa. Yung sa mga lalake naman dalawa na daw yung bulsa, may lining sa sleeves na blue ata (short sleeves pa rin) tapos di ko lang naintindihan kung parang v-neck (katulad nung adver uniform ng ust?) tapos may red lining or katulad pa rin nung sa ngayon pero yung strip na pinaglalagyan nung mga butones e kulay red. i-visualize niyo na lang. then yung patch e nasa left breast na.

what do you think? lastly, lalagyan na daw ng korte yung uniform ng mga babae, kasi diba yung current uniform e walang korte.

Nako ayan nanaman yang pinagpipilitang gayahin ang UST, pati ba naman sa uniform!? Kung may mga admin sa school na nakakabasa dito pwede ba "Utang na LOOB" tantanan niyo nga ang letran at tigilan niyo yung pangcopy cat sa UST. Lahat na lang gustong ipattern sakanila, andaming creative thinkers na students sa school natin na hindi niyo tinatap dyan kayo kumuha ng idea. Be a student oriented school sila ang boss niyo sila(Kami dati).

sorry... bakit magpapalit ng uniform ang letran? pumangit na nga since naglagay sila ng patch or logo for colleges... what happened to the tradition?...... just asking

hinde po magpapalit ng uniform yung buong student body, since magkakaron na ng new college department sa letran, (College of Engineering and Information Technology, **not final) eh magkakaroon sila ng hiwalay na uniform. Hindi naman porket nagpalit lang ng uniform ang IT (kasi kasama na kami sa college of engineering..) eh mawawala din ang tradition ng letran. the noble tradition of excellence and the supreme ideals of DEUS, PATRIA, LETRAN would always stay the same

Parang din yung toga ng mga HS students tuwing graduation, na binase sa old uniform during St. Liem's time. Ang init nga!

Bakitang ganda ng uniform ng IT and Engineering? Yung Education di nabinigyan ng pansin. Bitter lang.
Ang simple kasi white tapos may red sa gilid parang UE lang.
