Where is PBB's James Reid now?

MANILA, Philippines – With his predecessors Kim Chiu and Ejay Falcon making great strides in their respective showbiz careers, does "Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Clash 2010" champion James Reid plan to follow suit?

Reid, who won "Big Winner" title in the third teen edition of "PBB," may still be a few paces behind Chiu (2006 teen winner) and Falcon (2008 winner) in terms of success as an actor, but the Australian heartthrob is still very much in the business.

The 19-year-old is set to storm daily TV with a new drama series underway, which will see his team-up with fellow ex-housemate Yen Santos.

Along with Santos, Reid will star in the latest in the "Precious Hearts Romances" series, titled "Pintada."

Reid, whose last on-screen role was in weekly drama series "Good Vibes," said he is excited to finally be working as an actor again.

"I'm really excited. My last show was 'Good Vibes.' That was last year, so it's been a long time. My role here is Vito. He's like the love triangle of Martin (Del Rosario) and Yen," Reid said in an interview with ABS-CBN News.

For his new role, Reid said he has continued studying how to speak Tagalog fluently, but admitted he is not yet conversant using the language.

"Pwede, pero nahihirapan parin. Nag-aaral, private lessons sa bahay. Kasi nandito ako sa Pilipinas, kailangan, I really need to pick it up," Reid said.

The teen heartthrob also revealed that during his time off from acting, he has been "making music" with fellow "PBB" alumnus Bret Jackson.

"I'm still making music now with Bret. It will be on MYX soon, [it's titled] 'Hope It's Soon,'" Reid said.

Also starring actor Martin Del Rosario and actress Denise Laurel, "Pintada" is slated for a July premiere during ABS-CBN's Kapamilya Gold block.

Meanwhile, fans of the "PBB" series can catch the fourth teen edition of the reality show weekday afternoons on "Uber 2012" and "Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition 4" during primetime.

Same here! Gusto ko nga sana buhayin ulit natin 'tong thread na 'to. Tutal Poppers are everywhere naman. Magtulong tulong tayo na rondahin yung ibang threads at sunduin sila para mabuhay thread natin. Super miss ko na talaga JAMLI pati poppers kahit hiwahiwalay tayo ng sinusuportahan sa pbb teens ngayon. Sayang kanina, birthday bash ni Ryan sa Banana Split, andun sila James, Bret and other ex housemates, ang wala lang is ang JenLi.
