Luis Manzano and Jennylyn Mercado, a very happy couple!



TINULDUKAN NA SA wakas ni Luis Manzano ang isyu tungkol sa tunay na namamagitan sa kanila ni Jennylyn Mercado. Matagal nang usap-usapan sa apat na sulok ng showbiz ang diumano’y pagkakamabutihan nilang dalawa kaya inamin na ni Luis sa kanyang programang E-Live na totoong nagde-date sila.

Nagsimula raw ang kanilang magandang pagtitinginan early this year dahil madalas silang nagkikita sa mga events at sa pagte-train nila ng muay thai at jujitsu.

Luis revealed that they have terms of endearment for each other pero ayaw niyang sabihin kung ano ito. Sa kanila na lang daw iyon but he gave a hint. “[It’s] very unique. Darating din ang takdang panahon para sa ganoon pero meron. Sobrang may kinalaman kung paano namin nakilala ang isa’t isa.”

Nagkita na raw ang kanyang ina na si Batangas Gov. Vilma Santos at si Jennylyn, ang dalawang babaeng importante sa buhay ni Luis ngayon. They met in Batangas last Holy Week. Luis described it as a casual encounter. “Very light. Wala namang, ‘Mom, I’d like you to meet Jen’. Ayoko ring ilagay sa ganoong sitwasyon si Jen.”

Parehong kontrobersiyal ang mga previous relationships ng dalawa but Luis doesn’t see the point of bringing up the past. “I don’t see the point [of] comparing sa isang relationship. It’s not right.”

Alam ng publiko that Jennylyn has a son named Alex Jazz pero hindi naman daw ito malaking isyu para kay Luis. He has seen the kid twice but he didn’t introduce himself as Tito Luis. Darating daw ang tamang oras kung may mabubuong pagkakaibigan between him and Jazz.

Masaya naman si Jennylyn sa mga sinabi ni Luis tungkol sa kanya. Ayon sa kanyang ipinadalang statement sa The Buzz, “I feel overwhelmed sa mga sinabi niya. He is really such a sweet guy for saying all those nice things about me. He is actually the first guy na nagpa-interview to defend and praise me. He did what the others didn’t do – ipinagtanggol niya ako – and for that I am very thankful and lucky. Luis is what you really call a true gentleman. Kahit sinong babae napakasuwerte na maging kaibigan siya. Guwapo, matangkad, edukado, ganda ng katawan, [has a] good sense of humor, intelligent and most of all, he knows how to treat a lady. Thanks Luis for the support and also for always making me laugh. You are the one that made me smile again. Thanks for that. Sa susunod na sparring natin ha, gali-ngan mo na para ‘di na kita matalo.”

Sa tingin ba ni Luis ay si Jennylyn na ang right girl for him? Siya na kaya ang babaeng nais niyang makasama habambuhay? “In terms of settling down, iyong sa amin ni Jen, it’s still a long way to go. Huwag po nating pangunahan but kumbaga sa punto na ito na kausap ko kayo, we’re very okay.”

Hi I'm jem. I support whatever relationship(whether platonic or romantic) Jennylyn and Luis have. I'm an ABS-CBN fan since birth but Jennylyn is the only one I admire in GMA. I'm also quite a fan of Luis because he's not just a mediocre host and he has a great sense of humor. I have a blog (which I just established last May 27) and I wrote two posts (My first about LuisJen was this: Luis: “She (Jennylyn Mercado) is a blessing” ) about LuisJen, the last one post that I wrote about them is this: Stop the Negativity and Don't be Judgmental! (Luis Manzano-Jennylyn Mercado) Luis and Gov. Vilma Santos already defended her


I wrote it because I wanted to also defend her even in my own little way. I've been lurking in her thread in igma.tv even though I'm a Kapamilya. I read the negative/judgmental and some times(if not most) degrading things being thrown to her by most people which I really don't understand why they are so much against her.

In my blog, it is mostly dedicated to the known personalities (local and Hollywood) I support, one of them is Luis. But like I said, I admired her before but somehow it got cold. But when I heard all the things that happened to her and the fact that she survived through it all, I guess I actually even admire her much more now than before.

I admire you guyz for the undying support, respect and love you have for her. She deserves you and you deserve her. I'm just happy for her now because Luis makes her happy. She said so herself that he never fails to make her laugh. So, I hope whatever they have for now, it's for the best. She has been through so much already but she's such a strong woman because she's still standing with her head on her shoulders. God Bless Us all. Good and positive vibes. LOVE LOVE LOVE

Hi Ms. Admin .... really hope the best for the both of them ...

I'm actually a silent fan of the half of the couple and that's Jen. I liked her first and foremost because of her lovely voice, to be specific when I heard her sing "If Im Not In Love With You" with Janno Gibbs na na recognize pa nga ng compose nito na si Dawn Thomas (meron pa nga video si Dawn Thomas appreciating their voices).

However, because of jen's not so good decisions in life it really affected her career. But even with that she is still standing coz I believe she is the only artist who is not just beautiful and sexy, multi0talented pa (na ayaw lang i appreciate ng network niya). I can see naman before the importance that GMA is giving Jen before pero because of her manager talagang naapektuhan si Jen. But for me I guess matagal na yon and Jen has shown her loyalty naman.

And then I saw Luis' interview in E-Live and how gentleman he is during the Maroon 5 concert talagang na appreciate ko rin ng husto.

And now, have started to like the both of them. Hope they'll be happy talaga and be a blessing to each other.

If they said Jen is lucky to have Luis, I guess Luis is also happy to have Jen as well . Patas lang naman sila.

DI na rin ako magtaka talaga kung marami detractors si Jen coz she really is a threat and madami pa talaga siya puwede ipakita. Hope lang that this time around she will really make good decisions.

I believe that both Jen and Luis will benefit from their love story. I don't think that media hype will be as high as theirs if it's not Jen who is linked to Luis and vice versa.

As it is every relationship that Jen has been into were all media criticized and talked to which goes to show that she really is here to stay and hope that this time, it really will be Luis and her!

Like what you said, theirs is a very interesting story!

Jennylyn Mercado focuses on moving on after breakup with Dennis Trillo; happy being with "suitor" Luis Manzano



Nakausap ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) si Jennylyn Mercado sa story conference ng bagong drama series nito sa GMA-7 na Footbulilits kahapon, May 31.

Maingat si Jennylyn sa mga sagot niya pagdating sa ex-boyfriend niyang si Dennis Trillo, pero may ngiti sa mga labi nito kapag tungkol sa "manliligaw" niyang si Luis Manzano ang pinag-uusapan.

Nagpapasalamat lang daw ang actress-singer kay Luis dahil dumating ito sa panahong kailangan daw niyang merong magtatanggol at nakakaintindi sa kanyang kalagayan.

Ngayon lang daw niya ito naranasan sa isang lalaking nanliligaw sa kanya.

"Siyempre, nagpapasalamat ako sa mga kind words, saka sa pagprotekta niya sa akin at pagiging mabait niya saka understanding," ani Jennylyn.

Dagdag pa niya, "Parati ko naman sinasabi sa mga interview ko, I feel so blessed, ang suwerte ko dahil, di ba, siya ang kauna-unahang tao na nagtanggol sa akin at prinotektahan niya talaga ako sa mga tao?

"Napakasarap ng pakiramdam na may mga taong ganun magmahal at ganun prumotekta, di ba?

"Lalo na ngayon kailangan ko ng mga taong talagang nagmamahal sa iyo nang totoo, yung mga taong talagang hindi ka iiwan."

NOT YET TOGETHER. Kahit sinasabing "exclusively dating" sila ni Luis, nililinaw ni Jennylyn na hindi pa raw sila ng actor/TV host.

Ini-enjoy pa raw niya ang pagiging single at hindi naman daw siya nagmamdali.

Masaya lang daw siya kasama ang actor-TV host dahil iba raw ang humor nito. Kampante rin siyang nakakasama si Luis sa pagti-training ng Jujitsu at Muay Thai.

Sa lahat na nanliligaw sa kanya ay si Luis daw ang pinaka-close kay Jennylyn.

Merong mga ibang nagpaparamdam daw sa kanya, pero hanggang pa-text-text lang daw at hindi niya masasabing interesado ba sila.

Hindi pa naman daw masasabi ni Jennylyn kung kailan pa siya handang umibig muli dahil sariwa pa raw ang masakit niyang karanasan sa pakikipagrelasyon niya kay Dennis.

Pero kung sakaling ma-in love daw siya uli, o pumasok sa panibagong relasyon, magiging maingat na raw siya ngayon.

"Siguro dapat ano, if ever papasok man ulit ako sa panibagong relasyon, hindi ko mamadaliin lahat.

"Kailangan kilalanin ko nang mabuti siguro.

"It will take time talaga para talagang makilala mo ang isang tao.

"Saka huwag ibibigay lahat dahil ang sakit-sakit talaga pag nawala, so magtitira ka palagi sa sarili mo," pahayag ni Jennylyn.

Aminado rin ang Kapuso star na marami siyang natutunan sa nakaraan niyang relasyon, pero hindi naman daw niya ito pinagsisihan.

"Wala akong pinagsisisihan," aniya.

"Parati kong sinasabi, sa lahat nung mga mistakes at mga relasyon na nagdaan, e, parati akong may mga natutunan...marami akong natututunan."

"FAMILY" PICTORIAL. Nung nakaraang Sabado, May 28, ay nagkaroon ng pictorial si Jennylyn para sa isang magazine, kasama si Patrick Garcia at ang kanilang anak na si Alex Jazz.

Pumayag sila ni Patrick alang-alang sa kanilang anak para meron din daw itong alaala na magkasama ang kanyang magulang.

Nagpapasalamat din si Jennylyn kay Patrick na supportive naman daw sa kanya, at pati sa buong pamilya ng aktor.

"Yung sa amin naman ni Patrick, tungkol lang talaga kay AJ ang pinag-uusapan namin, e.

"Yung mga personal thing, hindi naman pinag-uusapan iyun kundi ang future lang talaga ni AJ.

"Saka, very supportive ang family ni Patrick—sila Tito, si Cheska, si Tita Bing.

"Talagang very supportive sila. At kung saan ako masaya, dun din sila.

"Kumbaga, parang na-feel ko na part ako ng family kahit na siyempre hindi kami magkasama ni Patrick at hindi kami together, meron kami kanya-kanyang buhay, na-feel ko na talagang yung suporta nila talagang nandun para talaga sa akin."

ON DENNIS TRILLO. Kapag si Dennis na ang pinag-uusapan, nagiging tipid na ang mga sagot ni Jennylyn.

Lahat naman daw na gusto niyang sabihin ay nabasa na raw sa YES! magazine, kaya tama na raw yun.

Pero tinanong pa rin ng PEP kung ano ang gagawin niya kung sakaling magkasama sila sa isang trabaho o magkasalubong sila.

"Sa ngayon, hindi ko pa alam dahil hindi pa nangyayari.

"Siguro sasabihin ko sa inyo kung ano yung pakiramdam pagkatapos, or pag may nangyaring ganung insidente.

"Saka nasabi ko na naman lahat yung gusto kong sabihin.

"Saka I think that's it, yun na yun, tapos na," medyo nag-aalangan niyang sagot.

Sinundan pa rin namin ng tanong kung may galit pa rin ba siyang nararamdaman sa dating kasintahan.

"Sa ngayon, ayoko pang magsalita about him," sabi niya.

"Basta okay na, tapos na yun, tapos na lahat.

"And whatever it is, basta para sa akin, ang focus ko, moving on. Panibagong chapter na ng life ito.

"And siguro kailangan ko ng... Sa susunod, kailangan ko nang pag-igihan at focus sa mga bagay na talagang importante kesa sa mga bagay na hindi kailangang pagkaabalahan."

Ano naman ang masasabi niya sa patuloy na pananahimik ni Dennis?

"Wala. Tahimik lang din ako," napangiting sagot ni Jennylyn.

MABUTI naman at nilinaw ni Jennylyn Mercado na wala pa silang relasyon ni Luis Manzano. Nasa stage pa lang na nililigawan siya at hanggang ngayon ay hindi pa siya ready na magmahal ulit.

Pati si Gob. Vilma Santos ng Batangas ay nadadamay na sa isyu kina Luis at Jennylyn. Puro kasi magaganda ang sinasabi ni Gob sa dalawa na sinasabing hindi raw ganyan at hindi ganito. Lumabas na parang kandidato lang daw si Vilma sa pagsasalita tungkol sa dalawa.

Napakapulitiko na raw niya magsalita at talagang pang-best actress.

Ano ba ‘yan, pati ba naman si Ate Vi, iniintriga pa? Pag hindi naman maganda ang sasabihin niya, ine-nega rin siya, no?
