    Bakit Nireregla ang mga Babae?

Ano ba ang religious explanation nito?

Kasi ang babae rin ang may kakayanan to CREATE LIFE so kailangan ng blood cleansing.

In Judaism, According to Leviticus 15:19, 25 - a woman undergoing her menstruation is considered "unclean". The menstruation is regarded as "days of impurity". When an Israelite is unclean, he needs to cleanse himself first before he can enter God's presence. They have a ritual cleansing. However, in the New Testament of Christianity, Acts 10:13-15, God said, ""What God has made clean, you must not call unclean." Clearly, it implies that God in the New Testament, contrary to the beliefs of Judaism in the Torah, made clean what was considered unclean in the Old Testament.

It's my stand that, the verses I mentioned implies that there need not be a reason or purpose that God made in every thing that we question. The "why's". It's for God to know and us to wonder. In Deuteronomy 29:29: "The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our sons forever, that we may observe all the words of this law.

Blood alone, is considered the substance in which life resides. In Deuteronomy 12:23, it says: "But don't eat the blood, since the blood is the life, and you must not eat the life with the meat."

I'm not sure if there's a connection between the verses but here's what I think:
Basing from those verses, the life is in the blood, so to speak. It seems to me that blood released from a woman's body is impure blood in the sense that it is not needed, it's excess blood. Though I don't understand why God would call that "unclean". My best bet is that his word is the law, like what Deut 29:29 says.

Are you a believer in the bible?

God didn't necessarily "favor" the man, there are many verses in that book where a man that is sick is also considered "unclean" until he gets well again.

"Unclean", according to a bible expert, only means "unholy". When a man is unholy, he can not enter the holy presence of God, that is forbidden. In order to get into the temple and enter God's presence, he needs to undergo a cleansing ritual.

After a bit of reading, I learned that God takes favor in people who do the right thing. God blesses the upright, people who do what seems favorable to God.

About God choosing the Israelites as his people: The 12 Tribes of Israel were formed from Jacob who was later called Israel. He birthed to 12 sons and from these came the 12 tribes. God favored Jacob because if you read Genesis where Jacob's story was narrated, Jacob seems to have the heart that seeks to please God. He would make offerings to God without God telling him, he would be so aware of his belief that God is constantly watching him and seeing his deeds. He would do what he thinks would please God. Because of that, God blessed him. And God made his sons, who were later called the Israelites, his Chosen people, his beloved.

Favoritism for me, doesn't need to have a negative connotation. But if by favor you mean, "Sam is my favorite daughter because she is the sweetest." And the parent would show unfairness to the other daughters, I wouldn't like that.

Since the Christian God watches over us and sees what we do, He knows who is after His heart, who wants to please Him. Those who do that are those whom God favors and blesses. In the Bible, mostly in the Old Testament, after you are favored, you are blessed.

Although, I'm curious why women are somewhat disregarded in most parts of the Old Testament. Eve was the one who tempted Adam, in the lineage of mankind, the mothers were not mentioned, only the fathers. Bathsheba tempted King David. The women were made concubines for King Solomon. There's more "men" that are honored than "women". I don't know why. But there are also heroic stories about women, there are books in the OT on that.

I also don't know why the woman has to be the one who gets menstruation, gets pregnant, travails, and gives birth. It's a lot of work, you know, it's also painful and it's hard on a woman's body. The woman's body changes after giving birth.

Also, I wonder why God is considered "male". He is the "Father". And Jesus Christ is male, too. The "Son".

What do you mean by believer? If you mean a believer of the bible who takes the words of the bible literally, or who believes it is the ultimate truth, that it is made for me to follow it to the letter, then No. I am not a believer.

But I believe some of its parts are good to read, mostly in the New Testament.

I don't know yet. I'm still open to ideas. The sources on how the Bible was made did not give enough information on whether it's inspired by God or man. But I don't want to believe in a god of judgement. It creates fear.

Baka mabubuntis din ang lalaki. Naiimagine ko yan. Mas magiging maingat ang lalaki sa pagsiping. Hahaha.

    Eksena: Mag-bf

    Babae: Honey, labing labing tayo.

Lalaki: Honey, diba napag usapan na natin ito. Ayoko pang mabuntis. Nireregla ako ngayon.
