I'm sure the Bulls would love to have him now. The problems are his buyout clause with Real Madrid and the rookie wage scale.

NBA stipulates that the Bulls (or any other team for that matter) can only offer $500,000 max for buyouts of their players. Mirotic's buyout is at 2 million euros

Also someone from another site iirc showed that his salary with RM is higher than what he would get in the NBA until the 4th year I think with the rookie wage scale.
