actually yung law makers natin ay gumagawa lang nang laws na hindi naman ginagamit or gagamitin, they are there not to help the people, they are there to get rich..hehehehe

Ito lang ah, and you may accuse me as a Noytard or call me other hellish names, not trusting the government is tantamount to anarchy.

We must, at least, compel them to do what's in their job description. If we repeat the cycle of elections then nothing then we are part of the social cancer. All bark, no bite.

This bill, if you took the time to read it, is something that will at least be the first step towards poverty alleviation.

Fine let them grandstand but sometimes this people really have something to say. Not everyone in that Congress are mere contortionists and clowns some are real lion tamer.

So we're better off without laws? We're better off without government? Seriously the way things are going, kahit sino pang iluklok niyo may masasabi at masasabi pa din kayo. Have you even read the bill for you to just junk as a nonsense bill and only a means for politicos to grandstand?

siguro if yun muna, then ipatupad yang RH bill, baka sakali pa alam natin saan mapupunta yung tax money nang bayan, sa bill or sa bulsa nila..hehehe

I also say no because there are more urgent issues. It's not that we have nothing on reproductive health that the RH Bill will be considered urgent or be passed at all.

    @PangitQuest

Freedom of Information (FOI) Bill, but the likelihood of this bill being passed is too low.

    matrabaho ba yun

I guess since we are all at it and that the media have the hots for it then we better get the bill passed before it gets toppled by future hotter issues. At least we can chalk one up to possible steps to progress.

There might be other more pressing issues, we must hope that media picks the up to pressure the government to act on it especially if they give the same exposure as they are giving this bill.

With all these fulfilled, there is no need for RH Bill.

An RH laww is for the future.

I think that with the hole that PH is in, she needs all the help she can get.

The RH bill, if it could reduce family size to what families can afford to support, will lessen poverty, will lessen the need for government subsidy. Then funds can be spent on other asset generating endeavors. Dividends will come in Not necessarilly in the very near future, but for future generations.

The money that would be spent on this program is minuscule, compared with the financial burden of extra children.

The country is like a poor Filipino family, with 8 growing kids living out of both minimum wage earning parents. The family cannot advance because the parents did not go to school, and have to compete with other similarly burdened families.

The government is poor. What do you expect of the government? Subsidize all the food, shelter, and health needs of this family?

Why not create the situation so that the few children in the brood could be given an opportunity to avoid the hole their parents got themselves into?

RH is one solution, probably the most effective solution.

Hanggat hindi naiimplement ng maayos ang mga existing laws, another law will just be as futile as the existing ones. Plus the budget they are trying to put into this bill, waste of money itong bill na ito. There is no guarantee with this law that population will be controlled.

Silly mentality without looking at the possible technical issues (ayaw naman kasi i-discuss , tapos ginagamit nila ang religion to smokescreen this i can see it from a mile away).

Typical act now... ask questions later (when it's too late)

The problem is, media focus is on controversial issues not necessarily what the country urgently needs.
