A Roadblock is a task that only one person may perform. In this Roadblock, that team member must count the number of steps leading to the top of the tower. Once they reach the top, they must write their answer on a board and if they are correct, the personnel would hand them their next clue.

Task: Below are two simple mathematical equations. Now, what you have to do is to answer both questions. You must then subtract the answer of #1 to #2. Your answer should be the number of steps of the lighthouse.

1. Find the determinant.
11A + 7B + 3C = 0
6A - 4B + 10C = 0
5A + 8B - 9C = 0

2. [(50+70) - 40] x 7 + 144 / 18 - (172 + 98)

What you have to PM me is the complete solution of the two questions and the difference between the two. All in all, I should receive 3 answers.

A Detour is a choice between two tasks. Each with its own pros and cons. In this detour, teams have to choose between Jangada or SkiBunda.

In Jangada, teams have to make their way on foot to the seashore where they will find Jangadas, a typical traditional sailing vessel of Brazil. Then, they must choose one of those which will transport them in a diving spot of the beach. Once there, they must dive down and search for a lateen, a triangular sail set which is being used to build a jangada. Once they found it, they must exchange the lateen for their next clue.

In SkiBunda, teams have to make their way on foot to Morro do Careca. Once there, they must climb the hill and search for a small wooden board which they will use to go down the hill. Once they have reached the ground, they must give the board in exchange for their next clue.
