Even in UFC you can see fighters doing the sign of the cross and pointing and glanching up (apparent saying, "this is for you up there") upon entering the octagon. Some (a few from Hawaii) openly say on the mic after a brutal victory, "First of all, i'd like to thank and praise my lord and savior jesus christ... without him this win would not be possible.", like saying, thank you for helping me whack my opponents head, almost putting him in coma or killing him and for helping me try to end his career. there's one fighter who even shouts "jesus i love you!" after a victory. How ironic.
