Hi Sir, when we say retool parang idi-divert ka from skill na alam mo to another because of project requirements? Like for example po Java ka then lalagay ka sa VB.NET na project kasi kailangan ng resources?

Mejo undecided pa rin ako i-accept yung offer kasi mejo mababa yung basic nila for SSE. Pero gustong gusto ko rito mag-work dati pa kahit sinasabi nilang toxic daw ang work load. One thing that motivates me to pursue is the quality of work. Some of my friends na nasa ACN before and ngayon says maganda daw ang exposure and talaga daw mahahasa ka sa skills mo.

Hmmm parang ang clue ata dito para malaman mo kung mare-retool ka is kung ang interview sa iyo is more on Software Development Lifecycle lang... kung very technical ang interview sa iyo sa specific language mo di ka mare-retool...

pag na-retool ka yes depende sa demand at di mo masasabi kung ano ang magiging capability mo until mapunta ka na sa project mismo... pwede ka kasing ma-retool ng paulit ulit sa different capabilities kung wala pa talagang demand yung capability mo.... kahit wala kang experience dun sa language na paglalagyan sayo... Para sa akin nung start ok din kasi ma-explore mo yung ibang language pero doing something that's not your 100% choice mahirap din pag tumagal na..

Same here kaya ako nag-sign is dahil nga sa exposure at practice in software development... pero toxic talaga one word.... SAGAD! hahaha

Haha! Thanks Sir. I've already accepted the offer sa kanila and about to sign on Monday. J2EE capability ako, kaya lang mejo iba-iba rin ang focus area pag J2EE. Hopefully mapunta ako sa maayos na project. Yan din ang sinasabi ng mga friends ko from ACN. Sulit hanggang last na cents ang ibabayad nila sayo. Heheh. But I feel excited and motivated.

About sa bootcamp, san ka capability malagay yon mga languages na part ng capability lang ang pede ka bootcamp. maliban na lang kung pede ka cross train.
Maliban sa bootcamp may iba pa din mga trainings na pede mo salihan kung papayagan ka ng Lead o manager mo to attend (kung nasa project ka).
Kung bench ka lam ko most of the time attend ka talaga ng mga trainings pero mas be related pa din sa capability mo. hehehehe.
Meron din site ang ACN na pede ka makapagaralan.
Kung training lang talaga hanap mo sa ACN, wala kang magiging problem pero yon nga related dapat sa capability mo.

usually ba mga gaanu katagal ang isang project sa acn? anu ang alam nyo pinaka mahaba/pinaka maikli? naitanong ko kase, dami ko nababasa na depende sa project kung okay ang magiging experience mo sa acn. Kung maiksi lang kase, might as well wait for the next na lang. Pero kung tipong > 2 years project, ouch!

got the answer from another forum. Iba pala "Projects" sa acn (or any consulting firm) kesa sa projects ng non-consulting company. Well, di ko pa kase na try mag work as consultant. ^_^

Well, ang HR and siyang ngdedetermine nian, sila lang ang nakakaalam nian. we don't know how they based on what capability you are fitted.
If you are a new grad at wala ka pang experience, I think hindi ka dapat masyado muna maconcern sa kung annong capability ka dahil kukuha ka pa ng experience...

Ang kailangan mong gawin magreview ka ng math at ng vocabulary words at maaring flowchart. wala pong programming exam sa ACN... Pagbutihan mo lang sa exam at interviews. Sa interview, try to be relax and confident yan ang important...
