Dayum! Tristan in Cannes albeit a slightly older one. Bradley looks good for someone who is approaching 50 with a family six kids and a busy career. But.....I love you Bradley, but the RC has become boring without the both of you on it.

Perez Hilton reports that Billy Bob Thornton recently appeared in an interview with Anderson Cooper in which he discussed his divorce with Angelina Jolie.

He said: "Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. Absolutely. We've always been friends. See in the press ladies and gentleman sometimes if you get a divorce everyone assumes it was nasty and it's not always. It's not that I haven't had a couple of nasty ones, but this was not one of them. Angie and I are great friends, we always have been and we talk on a pretty regular basis. I blew it because I didnt think I was good enough for her. She has one way she wanted to live her life and I had another way to live mine. I was just too insecure."

Thornton is on a promotional tour for his upcoming book, The Billy Bob Tapes: A Cave Full of Ghosts.

We’d be hard pushed to pick our favourite all-time Versace moments – from Liz Hurley in that safety pin dress to the stellar couture comeback this season in Paris, this Italian fashion house is steeped in rich history despite being a relative youngster in comparison to the Vuittons or Guccis of the world. Since Gianni Versace launched the label in 1978, there have been moments a-plenty. What about Gaga’s retro Versace marathon last year? Or the H&M collabo? Ooh, or the killer Kate Moss and Gisele campaign of spring/summer'09. Well, Mr Derek Blasberg (AKA the ever-smiling Don of fashion’s social scene), caught up with Donatella to find out what her key Versace moments were and TBH, we’re not surprised by the results….
“The Jungle Dress worn by Jennifer Lopez to the Grammys in 2000 was an astonishing feat of fabric engineering – a flimsy thing made from just a few pieces of printed fabric,” Donatella told Derek of J Lo’s ‘I’ve-Arrived’ moment. “It was very, very sexy, and provoked a crazy reaction. Jennifer is of course a very sexy woman, but I think the Jungle Dress had special impact because it showed that she was really proud of her sensuality.”

But there’s one long-standing Versace A-lister that Donatella couldn’t possibly overlook (especially when the rumour-mill is whirring like mad over the possibility that the fashion house could be creating her wedding dress)…. A certain Angelina Jolie. She’s worn countless Versace pieces in the past, but it was the cream and red satin Atelier Versace gown for this year’s Golden Globes red carpet that really floored Donatella. “This couldn’t have been less like the Jungle Dress…” She exaplained, “This time the dress revealed almost nothing – just her elegant shoulder and neck, and a cheeky peek of leg through a thigh-high split.” And we all know Ange is a fan of that particular style trick… “This was a classical Grecian look, created by ruching and drape, and Angelina looked both extremely elegant and wonderfully sexy in it. Both dresses were very Versace, but each achieved this effect in a different way.”

Brad Pitt Parties with Diddy (and Ray Liotta) in Cannes

After attending the premiere of his movie Killing Them Softly at the Cannes Film Festival Tuesday, Brad Pitt hosted an intimate party at Villa St. George that evening for close friends and people who were involved with the film.

About 100 people attended the soiree, which was sponsored by Johnny Walker Blue Label. Celebrities like Diddy, Kylie Minogue, Chris Tucker and Ray Liotta partied until the wee hours of the morning.

The party felt almost like a pre-bachelor party for the newly engaged Pitt, with refreshments including cigars and £250 bottles of Johnnie Walker whiskey.

Towards the end of the evening, Pitt's friend Diddy shared a celebratory drink with the actor over his engagement to Angelina Jolie, before inviting the entire party back to his yacht.

Cannes: Brad Pitt Talks The Counselor

He’s a Cormac McCarthy junkie

In just a few weeks, shooting begins on Ridley Scott’s The Counselor. Based on an original screenplay by legendary novelist Cormac McCarthy, with Ridley Scott in the directing chair and a crackerjack cast that includes Michael Fassbender, Jeremy Renner, Javier Bardem and Brad Pitt, it frankly couldn’t sound better.

Our excitement is clearly shared by Pitt, who’s in Cannes for the world premiere of Andrew Dominik’s crime thriller Killing Me Softly, and who said a few words about The Counselor to us earlier today. [

“I’m only doing a few days on that,” he explains. “Andrew and I are both Cormac McCarthy fans — I mean, I’ve read every word the guy’s published and most of them more than once. So this was a chance to do something of his and also to work with Ridley again. Ridley gave me my first break into the big leagues [with 1991’s Thelma & Louise]. And I’m a Fassbender fanatic too.”

Though his part is small, Pitt has proven himself well capable of stealing the show with a cameo: think his scuzzy hitchhiker J.D. in Thelma & Louise, or bong-loving layabout Floyd in True Romance. In The Counselor he plays a character called Westray, who helps Fassbender’s lawyer get hold of a $20 million stash of cocaine. So, following his hitman in Killing Me Softly, it’s fair to say he’s playing another criminal?

“You know, I kinda am,” considers Pitt. “It’s ill-defined, but yeah, I kinda am.”

CANNES, France – Angelina Jolie did not make it to the Cannes Film Festival for the premiere of Brad Pitt’s Killing Them Softly. But as far as Pitt was concerned, his family was very much in the picture.

Just before Pitt entered the festival hall for the film, he snapped a shot of the scene — hundreds of fans and photographers focused on him. An electronic postcard for the Jolie-Pitt clan.

“I don’t like being separated from my family. So you send photos back and forth,” Pitt says. “That’s the great thing about technology.”

So to complete the postcard to Jolie and their children — Maddox, 10, Pax, 8, Zahara, 7, Shiloh, 5, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 3 — you could say, “Wish You Were Here. Dad rocked it in Cannes.”

KillingThem Softly, which also stars Ray Liotta, James Gandolfini and Richard Jenkins, received a 10-minute standing ovation from the adoring French audience. That left director Andrew Dominik feeling a little awkward.

“It’s so weird,” Dominik says as he settles down at a table with Pitt to discuss the movie. “You handle it so well. It is not easy to have people focus on you. I stand there feeling like an idiot.”

“Oh, no,” Pitt responds. “I still feel like an idiot.”

“But you hide it so well,” Dominik says.

The two have developed a relationship since working together on 2007′s The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. While Pitt was filming 2011′s Moneyball, Dominik sent him the crime novel Cogan’s Trade. Then he pressed the issue via his own technology.

“I sent him a text saying: ‘That book I sent you, I’m going to do it. Are you interested?’ ” Dominik says. “He wrote back, ‘Yep.’ It all took two text messages.”

Says Pitt, “He just came over (to Pitt’s home), laid out the story and we were done.”

“And then we were doing our bit for the economy,” Dominik says.

In Killing Them Softly, set during the economic turmoil of 2008, Pitt’s Mob enforcer is sent to clean up after a robbery of a Mob-protected poker game causes a loss of faith in the underworld micro-economy. His bloody bailout gets the Mob economy back on track, but the brutal cleanup means that Goodfellas bad boy Liotta whimpers his way through a ferocious beating.

“I don’t know how many times I’ve seen that scene, but it’s just unsettling for me,” Pitt says. “Even (at the premiere), it was pretty tough. Ray is used to giving the beating (in movies). That’s what we’d expect from him.”

Even with solid reviews at the festival for the Mob flick, Pitt’s personal life often overshadowed the movie. Questions about his upcoming wedding to Jolie — the two became engaged in April — made some of the biggest headlines of the week.

Pitt handles the questions with grace, even if he doesn’t enjoy them. But the attention can be good for a movie, especially an independent film like Killing Them Softly.

“It’s good and bad,” Pitt says. “You work around it.”

For the record, Pitt said at a news conference that the couple have “actually, really, truly” not set a date for the wedding, despite rumors of a date in August.

But when they do start planning, you can bet that the kids will be back in the picture. “Yes, we’d like to make them a part of it, a big part of it. Beyond that, I don’t know.”

On Sunday, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s first biological baby, will celebrate her sixth birthday.

Shiloh was born on May 27, 2006 at the Cottage Medi-Clinic Hospital in Swakopmund, Namibia. Since Shiloh’s birth, Jolie has had two other children, Knox and Vivienne, and the celebrity couple have also adopted three children; Maddox, Pax, and Zahara.

The birth of Shiloh made headlines in 2006, and was easily the most anticipated–and widely covered–birth of the year. Shortly after her birth, Jolie and Pitt sold the first pictures of baby Shiloh for a record-breaking $4.1 million to People magazine.

Shiloh may be only six, but Jolie and Pitt’s oldest daughter has already developed her own sense of style. Her mom describes her as being a bit of a tomboy, with Shiloh preferring to wear boy’s clothes, including suits.

“I think she (Shiloh) is fascinating, the choices she is making,” Jolie said in a 2010 interview of Shiloh’s sense of style. “And I would never be the kind of parent to force somebody to be something they are not. I think that is just bad parenting…

“Children should be allowed to express themselves in whatever way they wish without anybody judging them because it is an important part of their growth. Society always has something to learn when it comes to the way we judge each other, label each other. We have far to go.”

2011-05-19 Passed by Chateau Miraval before the Cannes Film Festival for a visit with Brad Pitt to discuss the Studio Miraval renovation which we will be starting this fall. This is a gorgeous studio with a history spanning over 30 years which has not yet been connected to ProTools. The SSL 4000 board is in fine shape and the recording hall is big enough for at least 40 musicians.

RE: SD - such is a life of a shipper. Its often a roller-coaster ride. Just ask any ArJoe (that's Ariel Lin and Joe Cheng) fans. Or, if you're a Thai-ent fan, hearts were broken when Ken Theeradeth married Noi and the thing with Anne Thongprasom seems to be just a bit of fan service and both wanting different things in life. I also ship a K-ent couple but after the K-drama they did, its been quiet from both sides and they have never been seen together nor do they even mention about the other in each of their interviews but we (the fans) gets a thrill in the clues and accounts from those who've seen them together. You know how K-stars are esp. the top Hallyu stars - they don't reveal they're dating until they are about to get married or unless they get caught with photographic evidence.

She is in pre-production for Maleficent.

Also, the house they're renting is near Pinewood studios, so their movement is not easy to track by prying eyes.

Also, I'm not sure where I read it, but take it with a grain of salt, there's some story that the family, left for France together with Brad but don't know where Angie and kids are are.
