I've worked in Jobsdb.com.ph ang hirap talagang hanapan ng trabaho ang mga Nursing grads even they are Registered nurses na. Nakakaawa pa yung iba kahit ano nalang pinapasok na trabaho at pinaka-worst Nursing grad SALES LADY ang trabaho, i have nothing against with them (Sales lady) Pero yung qualifications ng Sales Lady kahit Elemntary graduate ok lang. ;(

Magugutom ka pag ganyan ang mentality mo. Be flexible.

Sobrang wala na daw available openings for nurses ngayon dahil sa inflation of nursing graduates everywhere. I hope this will create jobs by 2012 here and abroad. If you send your resume, may 100 more resumes lined up before you. Tsaka, naka pending pa mga graduates noong 2009-2010 for reference! Even with 4 years experience ka pa, good luck parin.

my sister was at 2nd year college taking up nursing... but due to an unexpected circumstance, she stopped. Now, she wants to continue her studies and planning to enroll this coming school year... but then... im quite worried because of the fact that there are a lot of jobless nursing grads nowadays... is it still a good idea if she would pursue on that course? or should i advise her to take another course instead?

hindi ako bitter ha, i will just state a fact. nagnursing ako kasi nung time na graduating ako from high school, in demand ang nursing. meron din akong relatives abroad na nurses kaya inencourage ako na okay naman daw yung course.
4 years yung course with summer classes the whole time. ang mahal ng tuition namin, plus ang dami pang extra bayad tapos nagdduty pa. after graduation kaylngan magreview, may bayad syempe. tapos may bayad yung pag file for exam. kpag nakapasa, you need training like ivt (costs 2,5k), BLS (1k), ACLS (2,5) tapos mas maraming seminars mas okay DAW. syempre pag gsto mo magabroad kaylngan mag IELTS (may review din yun and exam fee costs 8k ata) then yung NCLEX(na ang mahal talaga)

kung ako yung sister mo, may change course nalang sya. pwede medtech or radtech. mas prefer ko sana yun kasi hindi siksikan sa pagahhanap ng trabaho at medical course padin naman. my tita works in singapore as a radiologist, 160k ang salary nya. not bad right?

as for me, i graduated last 2010, passed the boards last july 2010 din. hanggang ngayon wala pakong experience. wala kasi akong backer. okay naman resume ko, scholar pako nung college may mga seminars ako kaso wala akong BACKER. so bahala na...
    goodluck sa sister mo..

Note: Radiologists are different from Radiologic Technologists. baka kasi may mamislead na they are one and the same ... Radiologists are MDs who specialized on Radiology.

sus ang anak nang bf ko RN na, volunteer work pa pero until now PAL employee (PALAMUNIN KUNG BAGA). I dont have anything against nurses pero based lang on my observation, most pinoys kasi would rather go for what is IN and not look at the long term effects ahead. I hope this will serve as a lesson to everyone that NURSING is not the only way to get out of the country or to have a better career.

bear in mind that "titles" added to your name doesn't assure you of any food on the table.

After nun nag resign ako.

Hi guys! I know how you feel. I'm still waiting for my slot. Go on lang. Never quit the fight. Nag apply din ako ng maraming hospital but true backer ang basis nila to be employed. Just dont quit the fight.

Proud to say, I am also earning on my sideline job. I am earning roughly 30-40k per month. There are many ways para kumita. Do some research. Baka naman kasi nakahiga ka lang. Of course, hindi lalapit ang opportunity sayo.

Nasubukan ko din mag call center, but mind you wlang growth dun. Call Center is recommended if you want to earn money para makatulong or pag short-term lang never long-term na halos buong buhay mo dun ka nag mag work.

The most important lesson in life, if you earn.. save and invest your money on BANK.

If you want change, move now. Don't waste your time. Abilidad sa buhay ang tutulong sayo para magtagumpay ka.. and of course GOD..
