May team-up ang NCAA at SM Tickets. Mas madali na bumili ng tickets! Hindi ko na kelangan pumunta sa Araneta ng 6AM para lang makabili agad. Haha!

I hope this solves the issue of hoarding. Madami kase schools na mag-h-hoard ng tickets tapos hindi din naman pala mabebenta sa mga students nila tapos late na maibabalik. At least ngayon, kelangan mo talaga bumili para ma-print yung ticket. Kung gusto mo mag-hoard, bumili ka ng madami.

Ang nakikita ko lang issue dito eh yung mga scalpers. Mas madali na para sa kanila ang bumili ng madami tickets.

Kung walang mag-h-hoard, there's no need for scalpers. Maski pa bumili sila ng 10 tickets okay lang kung wala namang schools na nagtatago ng tickets.

If only paid tickets are to be printed, then good for the league. No need to wait for the member schools to return unsold tickets and be burdened with the subsequent inventory.

For the alumni batches, wala nang "pa-reserve".

Sa play-offs. Patas na ang labanan. Kung sino may pambili, yun ang may ticket at di na yung kung sino ang may kakilala.

Pero paano sa F4 and Finals this season, Araneta will be the most likely venue and they have their own ticketing system?

As the NCAA Season 87 kicks off, a coach exits

Mentor Boris Aldeguer is leaving the Perpetual Help men’s basketball team.

The news was confirmed on Monday by the NCAA policy board Chair Antonio Tamayo, who also serves as the team’s president, at the Season 87 press conference.

“Our previous coach (Aldeguer) has resigned. With regret the university has to accept his resignation,” said Tamayo.

There’s still no official word on what prompted Aldeguer’s abrupt resignation, but sources say it was because of the non-inclusion of the team’s key player in the official line-up approved by the NCAA board.

Jimwell Gican, who served as an assistant coach for Aldeguer, will take over the reigns for the Altas.

Aldeguer spent three seasons with the Perpetual Help, which finished last season with a 2-14 slate.
