Meron pong mga iglesia ni Cristo sa mga estadong nabanggit, ngunit ang mga tunay na lingkod ng Dios ay pinuprotektahan ng Dios sa mga salot na katulad nito sapagkat nasa loob sila ng arko ng kaligtasan. At dahil sa ganitong pangyayari ang mga maling relihiyon sa dakong ito ay lalong matutuyo (closing churches) ngunit darami naman ang mga iglesia ni Cristo.

Ang mga tanim na di kailangan katulad ng damo ay tinatangal para ang magandang tanim ay lalong umusbong.

Hindi po ako mayabang. Sino po ang nadisgrasya sa amin? kung meron mang nadisgrasya isa lang iyan sa dalawa:

still sound preachy. you know what happens to people who are preachy here sa pex? anyways, all I know is that Japanese people outlive most of their counterparts sa ibang nation. One of the longest lifespan sila. one of the best quality in terms of education, nutrition and life. one disaster does not make them less of a person. actually, many people even approved of their behavior post tsunami. and besides, who caused this tsunami? gosh are you implying that it is God? Your God sent the tsunami to Japan?

Blasphemy. I think kasama rito yung pag correlate kay God at recent catastrophes. those people who implied or even blatantly proclaimed that the recent tsunami was God-sent have committed blasphemy. As if these people have talked to God personally and God have told them na He killed those non-believing Japanese. They are using His name in vain. well blasphemy yun di ba? as far as I know blasphemy is a sure golden ticket to hell.

Sa tingin ko? Ang kaligtasan po ng isang tao ay hindi sa tingin ko kundi nasa pananampalataya at pagsunod sa mga utos ng Dios. Pero sasagutin ko po ang tanong niyo na sa tingin ko... Sa tingin ko kailangang sumapi ang tao sa iglesia ni Cristo para masabing naglilingkod sa Dios. Bakit? Sapagkat ang utos ni Cristo na Panginoon ay pumasok sa kaniyang katawan o iglesia. Bakit pa kailangang pumasok sa iglesia niya? Sapagkat ang katawan lamang ni Cristo ang natubos ng dugo ni Cristo. Ito ang iglesia ni Cristo. Kung ayaw nating sumunod sa utos na ito, tayo po ang magbabayad ng ating kasalanan. Kung tayo ang magbabayad ng ating kasalanan at hindi si Cristo, hindi po tayo maliligtas sapagkat ang kabayaran ng kasalanan ay kamatayan sa dagat-dagatang apoy o impyerno.

Ang tanong mo na sa tingin ko ba na maliligtas ako ang sagot ko ay kung ngayon ako ay mamatay tiyak po akong ligtas hindi dahil sa ako ay mabuti o walang nagawang kasalanan kundi ako ay napaloob sa kawan o iglesia ni Cristo na tinubos ng dugo ni Cristo. Ito ay awa o habag ng Dios dahil wala pong gawa ng tao na makaliligtas sa kaparusahan sa impiyerno maliban na sa dugo ni Cristo.

Pero kung mamatay akong wala sa loob ng iglesia ni Cristo hindi po ako maliligtas sapagkat hindi na ako sakop ni Cristo sa kaligtasan o iglesia niya.

Kaya po mahalaga na nasa loob tayo ng iglesia hanggang sa ating kamatayan dito sa lupa sapagkat ang magtiis hanggang sa wakas ay siyang maliligtas.

ako naman i hate those religious self righteous people na pag may recent earthquake, tsunami, sakit, or any catastrophe readily uses God tapos sasabihing magbago na ang tao, the end is near, kami lang maliligtas etc. Others even say that God send these disaster to wake us up, to shake the nonbelievers or anything similar to those. gosh in the first place, wala naman silang direct evidence that God Himself sent those disaster. All creation of their wild imagination.

thats why i don't belong in any religious group... feeling nila meron silang force-field hindi sila tinatatablan ng kasalanan kahit obvious na makasalanan... hehe at nagiging bulag sila sa sarili nilang masamang gawa...

^i do belong sa religious group. Im a catholic. pero I believe that no religious group is 100% correct. gosh opinion ko lang yan. so I dont follow everything RCC says.

masaya rin maging member ng religious group. kasi not everything naman dyan ay mali. maraming tama and good guide sila on how one should live. and plus you get to socialize with different kinds of people from best to worst.

IMHO, just dont push your religion or beliefs to others and dont sound too preachy, okay na yun. of course minsan minsan nagagawa ko rin yun

btw, okay lang for me na you or anyone dont have religious affiliation. kasi for me at the end of your life, God will judge you based on how you dealt with other people and not based on your religious affiliation. of course again opinion ko lang yan at pwedeng mali

Violent storms in southern China have killed at least 18 people and injured more than 150, state media report.

Gale-force winds, heavy rains and hailstones battered Guangdong province at the weekend, forcing hundreds of people to evacuate their homes.

The authorities say those who died where struck by falling objects or collapsing walls.

The extreme weather has caused millions of dollars of damage to buildings as well as farmland, officials said.

The storms, packing winds of up to 164 km/h swept through the provincial capital, Guangzhou, and the nearby cities of Foshan, Dongguan and Zhaoqing.

The storms have affected more than 3,200 people, and at least 45 houses have been destroyed, a spokesman from the province's flood control headquarters was cited by Xinhua as saying.

The civil affairs ministry put the cost of the damage at 96m yuan ($14.7m). About 2,500 acres (1,000 hectares) of crops were damaged, state media reported.

The local government has begun a relief mission to provide aid to those affected, and move the injured to hospital.

Guangdong province is the manufacturing heartland of China.

Thousands of factories produce goods for export round the globe - but there have been no reports of any serious damage to assembly lines.
