Sometimes people come into your life & you know right away that they were meant to be there, to serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson, or help you figure out who you are & or who you want to become You never know who these people may be (possibly your roommate, neighbor, professor, long lost friend, lover, or even a complete stranger), but when you lock eyes with them, you know at the very moment that they will affect your life in some profound way.

Everything happens for a reason. Nothing happens by chance or by mean of good luck. Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness & sheer stupidity all occur to test the limits of your soul. Without this small test, whatever they may be, life would be like a smoothly paved, straight, flat road to nowhere. It would be safe & comfortable, but dull and utterly pointless.

Sarah G's "One Heart" is worth the wait

You’ve been aching for one for quite a while now. Finally, the moment you’ve been waiting for is here. The new Sarah Geronimo audio album has seen the light, and all we can say is that, it’s been worth the wait.

Popstar Princess, certified multi-platinum record awardee, the multi-media star, Sarah Geronimo is back with another sure bestseller. The 15-song set sees the singing champion trying out new sounds and treading on familiar musical grounds at the same time on her latest collection entitled ‘One Heart.’

Opening the album is the smash hit ballad “Sino Nga Ba Siya.” This heart achingly beautiful ballad is delivered with a sincere depth that only a handful of artists out there, Sarah included of course, can muster.

The most likely follow up to this radio and music channel staple is another ballad entitled “Kung Siya Ang Mahal.” Now this one just takes the icing when it comes to heartaches. This ballad, a first time original and an OPM gem in-the-making, is a Vehnee Saturno written tune royally interpreted by Sarah. It’s something familiar yet different at the same time, an OPM ballad peppered with vocal R&B-isms but an emotional love song thru and thru.

‘One Heart’ also includes the memorable soundtrack “Fallin’” from the box office hit movie “Catch Me…I’m In Love,” as well as Sarah’s version of “Fallin’,” the theme from the Koreanovela “Full House.”

As if Sarah’s star power is not enough, her new album also features none other than the concert king Martin Nievera in their duet on the George Canseco/Louie Ocampo-written song “Ikaw.” And on the up and coming side, there’s also a duet with Kean Cipriano of Callalily on the tune “Bata.”
