PinoyExchange.com recently held the advanced screening for this summer's gut-busting comedy, American Pie: Reunion. Team PEx was there to cover the event, as well as to watch the movie. Work does have its perks.

Those privileged with special invites started coming in at around 7:30, all eager and excited to witness Jim, Michelle, Stiffler, and the rest of the gang back together after more than a decade.

The advanced screening begun with a raffle, with nifty-looking PEx and American Pie shirts up for grabs as well as two deliciously mouth-watering apple-caramel crumble pies courtesy of Banapple. After all, this movie won't be complete without some sweet apple pie. Everyone in the theater had their eyes on that heavenly pastry, hoping that the number on their ticket will be called.

After the lucky winners were drawn (and after collective sighs of disappointment and utterance of "I wanted that pie" were heard, it was finally time to start the movie. It was a laugh-riot from start to finish. The film provided tons of rib-tickling moments that made the audience burst with laughter as well as horrifying ones that made everyone cringe (mostly because of Stiffler). American Pie: Reunion was chock-full of gags and is a funny and satisfying conclusion to the saga. Save the best piece for last indeed.
All in all, it was a fun event and big thanks to Solar, BanApple, and to everyone who helped out and attended. See you at the next advanced screening!
