spurs should hold on to their players if they really want to provide challenge for UCL spot or even the EPL title.

And add more! IF AND ONLY IF we can get a hold of the likes of VDV, Bale, and Modric, then we can probably sign 2 more great players in the January transfer window.

Spurs vs Athletic Bilbao Friendly on August 6 WITH OR WITHOUT MODRIC!

First, Gallas. Now, Ade. But I honestly believe this will be a great signing should this talks continue and be resolved "within the next 48 hours".

Ade would be a great signing for Spurs, a proper striker to lead their line.

I hope this "loan deal" pushes through.

YES! 3-0 against Hearts under 29 minutes! Absolutely fantastic of a start!!!

*On another note, Sevilla down 2-1 While Lazio still scoreless

    EDIT:

Haha Lazio now leads 1-0!!! Hernanessss!

Back to Tottenham though, scorers so far are vdV, Defoe, and Livermore.

    FULL TIME:

    Hearts 0 - 5 Spurs
    Lazio 6 - 0 Rabotnicki *whatever*
    Hannover 2 - 1 Sevilla *sobs*

Had Sevilla won, I'll tell you who's on 7th Heaven right now.

    ME!

    Bad news for Spurs

Spurs blow as Van der Vaart is ruled out for six weeks

I know Modric as a professional, and he doesn't whine when he's on the pitch. Maybe January is the time for him to go. I cannot see this current Spurs XI to be competing for the 4th spot, let alone the 5th. But I will be optimistic we at least get one of the Europa league spots.

As for vdV, I hope he recovers much sooner than expected. I would be lying if I say that I'm not excited to have Adebayor as the man up front with Bale and Lennon on the wings, van der Vaart slightly behind him, and Modric and Parker supporting them.

All excess baggage anyway so why keep them in the team....

One of those "glory, glory nights" at the Lane again, I guess. Dominated the Reds across all the stat-sheet. After Adam's sending off, the team is just a joy to watch. The two games against Manchester are now forgotten. I used to hate the man, but now, it seems that we breathe Ade!!!

    COYS!

As I've said on the BPL thread, the atmosphere was electric, the marching on chants will bring shivers to everyone listening. Proper supporters to a proper club.
