get the 1100D instead =) upgraded version ng 1000D. entry level with a HD video. yan *** counterpart ng D3100 of Nikon. pero alam ko mas mura ang 1100D kesa sa D3100. check and compare mo sila. i cannot give any comments since wala ako ng both =)

if you plan NOT investing on body eh baka magsisi kayo.
    example
    D60 and D7000
    usable ISO of D60 800; D7000 6400; thats 3 stops more

you need a camera na capable to handle high ISO w/o so much noise.
+1 kasi yun para kahit simple lang yung lens mo ok lang.
tsaka syempre nandun yung mataas yung video capture, mataas yung FPS, maganda yung LCD, etc.

basta investon both lens and body.

It's always proper to tell your budget when asking for suggestions. Then we'll recommend the best that you can get for your budget. Mahirap mag equate ng peso value sa "medyo di kamahalan."

    Which also means 55k for the D7000 body and 40k for the D90 body, coupled with glasses like 35mm f/1.8 11k, 10-24mm f/2.8 40k, 18-200mm 30k, 70-200mm f/2.8 90k, etc.

40K or less? then Nikon? and you said "newbie" ka sa dslr? mag D90 with 18-55mm kit ka na muna. start ka na muna jan then ipon ka na para sa flash like sb-400

  13. #53
I dunno, but I think getting a 1000D or the newer 1100D is not advisable. The former is priced lower than the D3100. But specs wise, you're pretty much investing in an almost toy-like system. If you're going for a Canon system, start with the 550D. On Nikon, the D3100 is a good start, but if you can get your hands on a D90 go for it.

    A 1100D is a toy but a D3100 isn't?

    Nikon D3100
    18-105 kit @ 35,000
    18-55/55-200 kit @ 37,200

    I prefer the 18-105.
Any of that setup will last for years.

Safe ba bumili sa mga ganyan?
kung sa online ka bibili WARRANTY wise hindi. warranty nila ay for service lang. then 1 year lang sa kanila. advise ko sayo, bili ka sa stores na lang since mas matagal ang warranty nila. 2 years pag Nikon and 3 years sa Canon. *** sa Canon paparegister ka muna online to get the 3 years.

nun March nakuha ko *** 550D ng Canon for 40k flat. 3years warranty and then 18-55 lens. para sa pinsan ko un.

check mo na lang *** mga cam kung ano gsto mong feel. then give us a comparison para masabi namin pros and cons ng bawat cam.

sample nakita mo and tinry ang 600D ng canon and D5100 ng Nikon, we will give you the pros and cons of those camera.

check it for yourself first before asking for any advise.

Sino yang "sila?" Maganda Nikon pero maganda rin Canon. You won't go wrong with any, actually kahit Sony, Pentax, Olympus pa. Problem is nasa Pinas ka and as a starter, ang choice mo lang talaga Nikon or Canon.

Service wise, mas nasulit ko ang Canon kesa Nikon, since may service center dito and sobrang nasulit ko na ang warranty offers nila compared sa Nikon na sa Columbia lang yung officially acknowledged ng Nikon na nagrerepair and nagddistribute. Kamakailan lang, nahulog isa kong lens and dinala ko sa Canon and nirepair nila for free.

BTW, yung warranty na sinasabi sa Nikon is if Columbia (CDSC) and hindi grey unit yugn bibilhin mo. Sobrang mas mahal sila, unlike if Canon na usually yung quoted sa Quiapo na mura, may 3 year warranty na yun.
