High Schools That Have High Salary For Teachers

I'm currently teaching at Colegio de San Juan de LETRAN H.S., supposedly on my third year this coming June. My (starting) salary ranged/es from 18-22k/month (deductions already included). I'm thinking of applying to other schools that may offer a higher (or at least the same) salary with Letran's.

Kindly list down schools that you know, their location, and the salary. These are a few, according to my co-teachers.

XAVIER: 25 K +
LA SALLE GH: 24 K +
FEU HS: 22 K +
UST HS: 21 K +
ADMU HS 15 K +

My younger sister is a teacher at Seton in Las Pinas. Fresh graduate, licensed, she managed to get 20K + salary.

Kelangan ba limited lang sa colleges and universities?

^ I didn't teach AHS, but I got the impression that they didn't distinguish whether you were teaching grade school or high school or college. Your salary was based on your degree (undergrad, master's, doctorate). When I taught in Ateneo (college), my salary was 12K. I have to say though: this was in 2000. People had a hard time believing this was what my starting salary was. After 15 master's units, I got raised to 15K (year 2005).

So if the starting salary for AHS now is 15K, I can actually believe it.

woah. is it true that teachers in Xavier receive 25k? that's big! haha! but is this the starting salary of newly hired teachers? what are the other benefits that you know of? thank you

naku, hindi rin namin alam kung bakit mababa ang sweldo ng guro. pero yang sinasabi mong 25K? kundi man sa isang exclusive school ng mayayaman, sa college lang makikita yan. 13K ang basic talaga.

Fresh graduates from the north come to our school because it offers a higher starting salary than other schools in their area. Haha! Mataas na nga daw yung 15k eh. Pero syempre, walang nagtatagal na teacher dito samin, lumilipiat sa colleges o di kaya sa public.

Feeling ko ito ang calling ko, ang maging mila. naloloka lang ako kasi sa compensation pero kung retired na ako sa pagpapayaman, gusto kong maging mila.

magbigay naman kayo ng mga schools na magandang pagsimulan ng mga fresh graduate, yung mga kukuha pa lang ng LET sa September. If possible give the address at yung salary range ng mga new hire nila.

teaching kasi is a vocation. oo tama, kailangan natin ng pera pero kapag teacher ka kasi, you have to prepare yourself to give more up to the extent without thinking of a higher salary. alam natin na hindi lahat ng schools nagbibigay ng malaking salaries. Kung gusto ninyo ng mas mahal na sweldo, humanap kayo ng sideline. ganun talaga ang pagiging teacher e.

Sa mga probinsya rin maraming mga nag-ooffer ng mataas na salary at maliban sa salary may mga incentives at mga outing ang mga high school teachers.

yes, unfortunately, some schools which charge the highest tuition provide some of the lowest rates for its teachers, maka hindi makabuhay at di karangal-rangal na pagpapasahod sa mga dakilang guro. kadirs.

imagine Atenista sya, kamukha si Piolo, ang sweldo nya P12 thou at that time sa pagtuturo sa hs. yak.

at least sa cc, P25, 000 sya, noon pa yun ha, what more now.

Don't forget to factor in work load, class size, etc., unless these are relatively the same for schools mentioned.

haha i agree! been with the cc industry din then biglang shift to teaching nawindang ako sa baba ng offer..nakakapagod sobra! haggard talaga pero hindi ko maiwan kasi masaya fulfilling eh tska outlet din..college naman tinuturuan ko kaya pede part time..so what i did is nag fulltime ako sa cc then part time sa teaching..kangarag pero mabilis lang naman ang sem pag hindi kinaya then that's the time that i have to choose
