I checked the yuku board and it seems that his race was a live race? Yung race ko hindi ganun (it's a non-live race that has deadlines to complete set of tasks) hehe and I'm planning to run it here so players would not waste time registering in other boards.

I may start the sign-ups for interested players once I get the go signal from Admin Nakura. We're still thinking if we'll have one or two person team.

FINAL MECHANICS

General Overview:
Ang TAR game na ito ay parang real TAR na napapanood sa TV. Ang difference lang this game will be played online but the clues given to you will be real like what you see on TV. Parang Survivor lang din. May mga challenges, etc.



Instructions:
Ang race na ito ay nahahati sa 12 legs (Actually depends on how many players/teams will join). Bawat leg ng race, may mga 3-4 SETS of clues (maximum of 3 clues per set) or pwedeng umabot ng 5-6 sets kung mahaba ang leg. There will be about 36-48 hours to complete each sets of tasks.

ORDER of posts are somehow important. Each team will be given an additional minute after the previous team posting their choice, so there will be definite times when I will post the clue. Read more about how the order of posts would affect your chances in the race.




Objectives:
Your job is to get the least overall time para hindi kayo ma-eliminate. The team that will get the most amount of time at the Pitstop will be eliminated or not. (if Non-Elim)




Rules of the Game (Guidelines):
1. Money: All teams will receive a money at the start of each leg (USD). You may wish to convert your money at the airport (before the flight departs, or at the train station, etc). Pero you cannot convert your money while doing the leg (if you wish, you can go to the nearest money changer but there will be a certain time for that, so sayang din oras). Kailangan niyong ideduct lahat ng nagastos niyo sa leg na iyon, if not you will not receive money for the next leg.

2. Scoring: your score will be based on time (but not most of the time, read further to find out). But all tasks have certain amount of times so you need to complete the task as fast as you can.

Types of Tasks:
1. Posting - post what is needed to post. (i.e. transportation choice, posting a YT video)
2. PM - PM me the answer to the question(s) being asked.
3. Playing - some tasks require you to play flash games (usually appears at a Detour/Roadblock, but not most of the time)




Route Markers:
1. Route Info: Tasks which involve flight searching and transportation between two clue locations. Some Route Infos will have miscellaneous tasks that a player will have to complete.

----- Most of the tasks here includes choosing transportation, answering related questions about the next location, flight or train searching, etc.
----- Some "taxis" will have problems like flat tire, ran out of gas, traffic, etc.

Ang ibang legs ay self-drive. The task will most probably be sending me a route map from one destination to another to determine your time.

2. Detour: A choice between two tasks. Teams are only required to complete one task unless you will get U-Turn which you need to complete both tasks.

----- A team will incur a 4-hour penalty if a team will not complete the detour.

3. Roadblock: A Roadblock is a task that only one team member must perform. No person may do more than 6 Roadblocks in the entire duration of the race. A Roadblock question will always be given ahead of time for players to choose which team member would perform the Roadblock.

----- A team will also incur a 4-hour penalty if a team fails to complete the Roadblock.

4. Fast Forward: In some legs, a Fast Forward may appear. Any team may complete a Fast Forward once during the entire duration of the race course. The first team to complete the Fast Forward can skip all tasks and go directly to the pit stop.




Special Route Markers:
1. Yield: A Yield appears randomly in the racecourse. Any team may choose to Yield another team, that is to stop them from racing for a predetermined amount of time (35 minutes). Any team that has been yielded must “turn the hourglass” before continuing to race. A team yielding another team must give up a Courtesy Picture of their team.

2. U-Turn: A U-Turn appears after a Detour. Any team may choose to U-Turn another team, that is, to force them to perform the other side of the Detour they did not complete. Any team that is U-Turned must perform the other side of the Detour. A team choosing to U-Turn the other team must give up their Courtesy Picture.

Types of U-Turn:
1. Ordinary U-Turn - only one team can exercise the U-Turn power.
2. Double U-Turn - Up to two teams may exercise the U-Turn power.
3. Blind U-Turn - Teams using the Blind U-Turn will keep their anonymity.

3. Intersection: An Intersection appears anytime in a race course. Two teams must agree to work together until otherwise noted. Both team’s time will be equalized until the end of the intersection.



Others:
If a team comes last at a pre-determined non-elimination leg, that team will encounter a SPEEDBUMP at the next leg of the race.

EXPRESS PASS: The first team arriving at the first 3 leg’s pit stop will be awarded this Express Pass. A team who earns the Express Pass may use it to skip a task that they deem impossible, or as a chance to edge themselves out from elimination. The Express Pass may be used until Leg 8. So 1 team "may" earn all those Express Pass.

For you guys to understand better, this is a sample of what you will encounter on the race itself.

This is just an example.

Route Info: Fly to Manila, Philippines. Once there, make your way to Rajah Sulayman Park where you will find your next clue. You have $87 for this leg of the race.

Task 1.1: Find a flight to Manila, Philippines. The flight should depart at least 50 minutes once you arrived in the airport. It should leave on May 15, 2011.

Task 1.2: Convert your money from USD to PHP. It's up to you how much you want to exchange. Always keep track of your money.

Task 1.3: Choose your transportation to Rajah Sulayman Park.
*Taxi to RSP (31 minutes, 100 PHP)*
*LRT to RSP (40 minutes, 15 PHP)*


In Task 1.1, you need to search a flight and send a screenshot to me.
In Tasks 1.2 & 1.3, I guess it's self-explanatory.

ang challenges hindi siya every weekend kasi kung every weekend ang challenges, matatagalan para matapos ang isang leg. Instead, may 36-48 hours (or more) para makompleto yung mga tasks. Unless, you want a live-race pwede yun every weekend lang.
