UE could have had a better chance to make it to the final four, if La Salle beat FEU last SAT. But UE still has a chance, win the last two games, and hope FEU losses its last game. Soto, Vilar, Tubid, Manubag, Ali and even M. Cruz have shined this season they just need their bench to step up especially former St Benilde junior Blazer Paul Artadi (Soto's backup). GO UE!!!

By the way, are you from UE? What course? Saan ka tumatambay sa school?

I'm a Comm. Arts student, 4th year na.

I wish the warriors good luck. There's always the possibility that they could make it, look at their game with the tigers. Who would have thought that the warriors are gonna be the ones to break their straight wins? Btw, I didnt know that Artadi was once a blazer, anyways, kudos to him for being the mvp recently.

    Royal Blooded Warrior,

Bad news, suspended daw si Raymund Soto against FEU. THe game is very crucial but still there is a fighting chance!

    Aira are u from UE???

I saw the UE-UST encounter last week. That was one of the most exciting basketball games that I ever witnessed. Kudos to UE for that come-from-behind win.

I think UE's the team of the future along with Ateneo..
Even if Soto graduates, andyan pa ang Asian junior MVP na si Paul Artadi. He has a good future ahead. 5'10 point guard ba naman e. tatangkad pa yan...also, andyan pa yung deep bench nila like m. cruz (future Manubag), booker (ala Willie Miller), estrada, n others....Starting nila is solid too with Villar, Ali, Manubag, and Soto!!
    Go Jimmy Mariano!!

pero Lasal n UST pa rin ang malakas even in the near future bec. malakas ang recruitment system nila e, from ncaa, uaap juniors and even star high school fil-ams...

    Peace

Bakit suspended si Soto? I didnt see their game vs FEU eh...

    NC, I was from UE.

  9. #9
He's a big factor in the UE squad pero siguro this would make other players realize that they need to step-up in the games.

I didn't get the chance to watch the game yesterday, who won?

Hmmm, so what else is new with the warriors?

stanch, nc, what school are you from?

Good Season for UE!!! Next season, we will see this team reap benefits from their experience this year, and basically the team is intact for next year. A couple of good post players can help this team alot, Ali is a strong player in the pain but the Warriors need a scoring center, ala Buenaventura. Imagine Ali defending the likes of Enrico Villanueva while their scoring post man does the scoring work. At the same time, Tubid, Vilar and Manubag man the periemeter. They need outside shooting from their #1's as well as confidence in ball handling from Shular, Artadi and Booker. Dont despair UE has big plans for next year, Coach Jimmy may be concentrating on a higher league and a new coach can push the skill level up plus a higher management support can level the team with the big college programs like DLSU and UST.

Royal Blooded Warrior, sino ang mawawala next season, I know its Soto's last season e???

  13. #13
I don't think it will be Soto's last season. Well, if he graduates this year, malamang mawawala siya. So baka maglaro pa siya next year.

    Warrior,

Its confirmed, Soto is in his last season,he's already finished with his studies! So practically the team is intact. Im sure may Fil-Am yan nxt year....hopefully but far fetched, Terq Motts Brod.!

    just asking stanch, :P

  17. #17
BatangNC : Well, if that's the case, should Soto be graduating, then it's Bye-bye! Nevertheless, Paul Artadi will be there. Check out this young guy. I'm sure, by next season, he will be a formidable point guard.

As for the Warriors, buo pa talaga yan. Still in tact, wag lang magloko sa studies.

Hopefully, the team will be in contention next year. Good Luck sa mga WARRIORS!

Paul Artadi needs to shoot better from the periemeter to be able to be a premier point guard. Add some bulk and muscle and you have the next Bal David.

Confidence in his passing and ball handling may be developed with more playing time.

  19. #19
BatangNC : Next Bal David in terms of looks siguro. But in my point, he's not that flashy. Mas may control si Paul.
Sana pala by next year, mahanapan nila ng deeper bench ang team. I just don't want to mention names.

Tama ka dyan, Red Blooded Warrior, there are those players na... ummp!! Lalo na si..., grabe, tho' matino naman siya oftentimes, he's getting into the nerves, the 'asta' !!
    Oh well...
