Would you look at that, HTC's latest worst kept secret is live on Vodafone UK's website. So here's the scoop: 4.3-inch qHD (540 x 960 pixel) SLCD display, 1.2 megapixel front-facing camera augmented by an 8 megapixel shooter with dual-LED flash around back, a 1.2GHz (dual-core) processor, and 4GB of internal flash memory with an extra 8GB supplied on memory card. Stick around, we'll have hands-on with the latest Android Sensation from the HTC launch event later in the day.

Get one, I highly recommend it. Idk, I'm no expert, but I love the responsiveness of the OS thus far. As for the battery, I had it fully charged last night at around 11PM, and there's less than 5% juice left. Sent around 20 SMS, ~15 mins call airtime, heavy data usage (social networking apps using network service), played a song about 15 times. or thereabouts.

yesterday, I tried using the internet sharing function. Works like a charm. nakakatuwa. yun lang.

Kahit naman yung ibang windows 7 phone like LG Optimus 7 and Samsung Omnia 7 walang card slot.

Not sure but I think it's one of the many restrictions and limitations ng microsoft windows as of now.

    Other restrictions are:
    No bluetooth transfer
    No flash support
    Can't set your own ringtones

Great feedback there~ I'm planning to put my 999 unlimited call and surf SUN sim in there so heavy usage din ako.

    Will buy soon! Thanks!

good buy po ba **** ang desire s?? kasi yan ang pinagpipilian ko for my birthday gift.. any tots.. samsung galaxy s or desire s?? salamt sa mga sasagot ng inputs...

Between Galaxy S and Desire S-- Desire S na pipiliin ko:

    Aluminum unibody
    HTC Sense UI,
Android 2.3 out of the box
    It's not a samsung phone.

    ^_^

Haha, I'm a little biased but if you're patient enough, why not wait for the Samsung Galaxy S II ?

Samsung Focus has a card slot and it is windows 7 phone. so i don't think there's a restriction

    Re: HTC Sensation
I am now officially a HTC fanboy. I mean, we've all seen the dual core offerings from Motorola, Samsung, and LG. But why am I suddenly excited by this news?

Re: Windows phone 7storage card restrictions
Afaik, all Windows phone 7 have a SD card slot with a bundled SD card ranging from 4gb to 16gb or even 32gb. However, a Windows phone 7 feature restricts you from replacing the bundled SD card with your own preference any time you want.

^ HTC Sensation weighs 148 grams according to website, it's not light by any means but yeah, I like it too. Rumor has it (no official pricing yet) that it won't come cheap and might reach iPhone pricing ( ehrr P40,000 ++ ????). If it comes out at P30,000 to P35,000 thereabouts I might just be tempted to buy it. Choosing between this, the Samsung Galaxy II and the Sony Xperia Arc which I can buy now but I can't decide yet since I can only have enough money to buy 1 of them ).

I couldn't resist. binili ko yung HTC HD7. I'm kinda loving it actually hahaha! Medyo naalangan ako noong una dahil sa mga sinabi ninyong parang shortcomings ng Windows Phone pero so far di pa ako bothered ng mga yun. And by the way I think i'm gonna keep this. maiba lang haha pero ang cool. Sana i won't regret buying this baby.

    Built quality.

Between my HTC Legend and the Galaxy S, the latter feels cheaper even though mas maganda ang specs nya.

does anyone know how to setup MMS for GLOBE on HTC Desire HD

  14. #74
    @keeto
It's what the yawner said. Hehe.

I do like the Samsung Galaxy Tab.

    @pasigboy
    Nice, how much kuha mo?

Ako nagandahan ako sa LG optimus 7 when I first saw it.

^Hmm, aren't the settings updated automatically once you insert your SIM? Ganun nangyari sa akin. You may call their customer service hotline if you need to manually set it up yourself.

Anyway, just wanted to rave about the Desire S some more, or rather, the Android experience. Natuwa ako dun sa app na nagdodownload ng MP3s directly into your phone.

  16. #76
anong name ng app na yun?

dapat ngaautomatic ma sesetup yung mg gprs/mms setting kapag insert ng sim diba. pero saang menu ba makikita yung actual setting ng mms/gprs para ma confirm if naka setup na talaga sya ng tama.

  17. #77
what should i buy, desire s or desire hd? based on my research, yung 8MP lang na camera ang main difference. meron pa ba?

  18. #78
I read that the desire S has improved battery life than the HD.

  19. #79
I really have to say, their phones are top-notch! It would be awesome if they release some sort of 'pang-masa' phones.

I never had to setup my MMS sa HD ko. I sent my first MMS a few days ago and I never setup anything.
